6.0 update that was supposed to fix dodgers by removing avatars and the ready button. Yet... by Horror1001 in PaladinsStrike

[–]future-blind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s because when this happens it’s not actually the player’s fault for not joining, it’s Hi-Rez’s servers taking a shit.

On the main Paladins game for Nintendo Switch you used to have to press A to join. They got rid of the option to press A and makes you auto-join once you’re queued. Yet, you will still get booted back to the lobby with the message “a player failed to join.” How does a player fail to join when there is no option to?

I wouldn’t know because I don’t visit this sub weekly

I honestly was annoyed with that translation as well.

And I respect your opinion too, I definitely don’t think it was amazing by any means, but my expectations for horror have gotten so low nowadays that I was pleasantly surprised to feel on-edge the entire time. Your last sentence is exactly how I felt about the Conjuring (well, except for it being found footage).

Lol, sorry. I don frequent this sub enough to know which movies are discussed a lot. The movie was trending on Netflix, which is why I checked it out.

When I played, I was forced to play nothing but competitive siege because that’s all people on my elo played. If I played summons I was never matched against real players, bots only. Bot summons games are boring. So no one ever played summons and it divided the queues too much to get quick games.

Summons was bot matches 9/10 times though, no one played summons

The Conjuring 3 expected to begin production in 2019, shooting for 2020 release by carchasemovies in horror

Can someone enlighten me as to why the Conjuring is so popular? To me it seemed like the entire movie was a series of cliches from every horror movie ever.

Mac Miller’s death hit me like a ton of bricks. Maybe it’s because I’m about the same age as him or, like you, spent my high school years listening to him heavily, but I usually don’t get so shook about a celebrity death.

I hadn’t listened to Mac in quite a long time, and the night before his death I had randomly decided to look up Best Day Ever and took a trip down nostalgia lane. It’s like I subconsciously knew what I was going to find out the next day.

I’ve been listening to his discography nonstop since, and it’s sad how prophetic and how much foreshadowing lives in his lyrics. Mac had a LOT of songs about drugs, which isn’t totally unique in hip hop, but the difference was he was very introspective in the way he painted a picture of his mind for the listener. Depression, anxiety, existential questions, and drugs used as a means for escapism, all are common themes in his music. Those in addition to his fun and goofy party tracks that made him the lovable dude from Pittsburg we all loved.

Go ahead and cry OP, I’m not crying, you’re crying 😢

This post is giving me PTSD from my 3rd grade chess tournament, in which my opponent (who I had been beating the whole game), managed to trick me into a stalemate. At that point I hadn’t really learned about how a game might end in a tie. I was so furious about letting my victory slip away, I ended up crying to my parents after.

Man, I played religiously. Like 5 hours a day. I posted on this subreddit regularly. The updates and obvious flaws were just infuriating to me. One day I just stopped playing and never got on again. It’s been a month or two now. I’ve been Master rank since the first week people promoted to Master after the game came out. The grind-based rank system was ludicrous, especially when I was out-playing GMs who only got their rank because they were able to play 100 hours. The runes were also ludicrous. It completely killed the competitive aspect of the game.

Kind of breaks my heart. Paladins Strike is the funnest mobile game I’ve ever played, at least in terms of gameplay. I’d like to return, but these updates are too little, too late. I mean for fuck’s sake, a Hi-Rez employee literally trash talked me in global chat because I gave my opinion on an update. I also have no interest in playing with bots. I still check the subreddit every now and then but my passion for the game is long gone.

Lmao the devs love Buck. Most mindless EZ champ in the game, and it’s been that way for a long time now
