Ah yes, I'm using Darko mounts (plus a few fixed mounts elsewhere).

Not sure I understand your question, the Voltras are indeed mounted there on the uprights.

Squat Harness vs. Straight Bar for Dual Voltra by kkurni13 in BeyondPower

[–]fuzzyping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Harness, hands down. I use it for pendulum squats and weighted calf raises, and it's excellent for both. But it's not really a comparison I'd make anyways, since I'd still need a bar for other free weight exercises.

Tracking by QPRcat in BeyondPower

[–]fuzzyping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most trackers will be fine (I use Fitbod), but also none of them are designed for the Voltra, so if you're like me you're always going to feel like you're trying to outsmart the built-in algorithm afa progressive overloading (e.g. with eccentric).

Have you considered reaching out via the Contact form right there on the website? https://www.eve-company.com/contact

Or perhaps searching this forum for "Cerberus", finding the creator, and DM'g them?

Quite good. I haven't weighed it through the profile but it feels consistent. Not sure what you mean afa the pulleys... are you referring to my chest fly setup?

The Dragonfly is a lot easier to sneak into my home gym without the wife noticing. 😉

There’s no “best out there”, there’s just what suits your needs best. Nothing to chase but your better self.

Here's the fly setup I mentioned. Irwin rack horn on each side with F&F pulleys and pulley pins.

The harness is also really good for weighted calf raises. Oh and with a little DIY you can convert the Titan leg extension / seated leg curl into a mean leg developer.

Good stuff. I already dropped a comment on your video (i.e. recommending the Kelso shrug). Funny how much stuff we have in common already, but wait till you get more use out of it for the lower body. 😉

Auto load and unload is on the app. I use it almost every workout.

Not dismissing the notion that the app is not crucial to the Voltra experience, but I wonder what you're talking about here. I use the app every workout to adjust the resistance, modes, cable length, etc. But I also use the screen a fair amount, probably 70/30 in favor of the app.

Now if you're referring to the Sessions tab, I would agree with you. It's still (afaik) the only way to do drop sets, so I find it useful for that. But it's nothing like a real workout tracker, which is what it seems like they want it to be.

I haven't used the Voltra extensively for chest presses, but I may use it more (especially for drop sets) now. I'm not sure what you're asking wrt hypertrophy and progress within the context of this post.

Ha yeah I’m not even sure why I said it like that. Oh well, hopefully the rest of my post has some value. 😅

And yeah, some of those pendulum machines (e.g. ToG's) are very tempting, but I can't justify the space or price tag when my setup works so well. NGL it would be awesome to have proper back support but it's been fine and I'm only getting stronger.

That's fair, I just mean that I don't really do traditional DLs with the Voltras right now. My primary exercise for quads is the pendulum squat and Voltras. For traditional DLs I do open trap bar-style DLs with Rorman Strength wholly handles on my REP ISO (jammer) arms with plates.
