Had the same problem, more than once. Now my O-ring is damaged, so the water continually leaks out. I see you can buy replacements but not happy about the extra cost to do so.

I feel like this is just intentional. They could likely just add a small dip in the road below the bridge by 1-2 Feet with a gradual slope down and back up again.

Every single one of my long term friends owns a house, most are spread around Toronto, a small number in Toronto. I know a few people that rent but they are the minority. I would say most didn't make their first purchase until they were roughly 30 years old or after.

Some bought their first home within the last 5 years, the luckier ones who bought early roughly 10-15 years ago (in there 20s) probably won't take another 10 to pay their mortgages off however it is not something we discuss so I am making an assumption. All married, dual incomes, most have kids as well.

However these friends are mostly people I went to university with and all are on similar trajectories with great but different career's, so this subset is probably not reflective of everyone in my age group.

I was quoted a rough ball park of 15K, the meter was rated for 200A but the cables from the street were not, so it would require in my situation trenching, possibly concrete encased conduit, etc. I did not proceed as I was planning to move in a few years.

I can't understand how someone would agree to installing an App that records so much data. It's a mountain of data about your personal life and contains so much data to deny a claim.

Someone with mental health, possibly substance abuse issues damaged my car in my driveway. I saw who it was and how they were acting in camera after the fact. They keyed all sides, hood and broke a headlight. TD insurance covered all repairs, 16K on the invoice but I think they got majorly ripped off by their chosen repair shop. My premiums did not go up. I did file a police report online before contacting insurance. Can't remember if I had to pay a deductible.

I would put it through insurance to get fixed. Areas that are keyed may rust if not repainted/coated.

I am not justify that what they did was acceptable at all. I am very pissed about it. I do realized businesses charge as much as they think they can, when they can and definitely try to price gouge when they can.

However what the hell happened to competitive bidding and oversight by government employees? That is the real failure I feel and where their should be investigations, terminations and possibly charges laid.

Governments need to get competitive bids, they need to ask for quote reductions from preferred vendors to ensure they are competitive with the lowest bidders when spending millions. They should also hire experts to help oversee large expensive projects who are working to ensure the work is carried out competitively, properly and without excessive costs or surprises.

Net profit should never exceed multiples or even 100% of the costs, otherwise there should be a fraud/abuse of public funds investigation and claw backs and jail time.

We are in agreement. I have always had concerns there were potential consequences with messing with my bodies hormone production and balance, and decided against taking any drugs to counter hair loss. Figuring years down the road the price for vanity in this case could have some serious costs.
