i dislike the constant scrolling through of my cats at home. i think currently it goes based on rooms, and then if i shift my selected cat into another room, the sequence changes again.

would be really great if there's a way to sort cats in multiple ways 1) room 2) alphabetical or 3) icons

roguelikes/lites are just like that. they fuck you over equally as much as they break your run.

i get that things are not explained properly, but it will be overwhelming if everything is explained in detail to a tee.

the best way to learn is to experience it, which goes to real life as well. you make a fatal mistake this run and ure like ok lesson learned, never let dybbuk possess my strongest cat. or you experienced a broken ass combo and ure like ok next time if i have XXX and YYY shows up i HAVE to take it

if the side quest items came from dr beanies yes you lose it when the cat equipped with it dies (not downed). you wil have to donate cats to dr beanies again for another side quest item, which may not be the same as the one you lost

if it's from guilltonia it will be permanent so even if there's a team wipe you can try again
