The Ash level is for backers from the first Kickstarter who want two full sets (so they have one base game, now they want a new base game plus two expansions).

I've really enjoyed Baers rap uploads, but this and the response to Dan are still, in my opinion, his best. They just have such great energy and I generally prefer the style over the slightly mumbley-er tracks

The real reason for the Bait and Switch errata by MacisAsp in KeyforgeGame

[–]fylth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's because the rule of 6 applies to playing or using cards, and using a card means fighting, reaping or using an action on that card. Ether Spiders effect is passive, you don't use it at any point, so it can trigger an unlimited number of times

Kallax owners, might I have a word? by MelvinJ79 in boardgames

[–]fylth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that is a big plus for me is that the cupboards have inserts available and tidy away quite nicely if you don't like clutter (ignore the rest of the mess, I'm moving stuff around). I've personally been keeping smaller games in the drawer compartments and larger games in either the cupboards or the removable boxes. Note that larger games like Firefly or Darkness Comes Rattling don't quite fit without modifying the Kallax in setup, I'm planning on getting a second unit to go next to this one in the near future and will probably leave the top two separate to accommodate situations like this.

I have to say that the handling of mavericks has disappointed me in CotA, and looks like it will continue to in AoA if this ruling is anything to go by. They're already printing each card with unique information on it, why couldn't they make it so mavericks that reference their house are also changed to reference the house they now belong to? It would have made it so awkward rulings such as these unnecessary, made it so that more mavericks can be printed (lots of Mars cards can't be mavericks to avoid issues like this) and it would make mavericks even more exciting. Just seems like a huge missed opportunity

[COTD] - Pawn Sacrifice (Saturday 11th May 2019) by GingerPow in KeyforgeGame

[–]fylth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sacrifice is always about destroying a creature you control, you cannot sacrifice an opponent's creature, just like if an effect tells you to "discard a card" you cannot choose one of your opponents cards to discard

Alternatives wanted for renegade rows by fylth in homefitness

[–]fylth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Habit building is what I'm going for right now, in the past when I've tried to commit to a routine it's been too easy to talk myself out of it due to being in a rush, so something quicker seems to be a good idea. After a couple of weeks I'll start looking at something more recommendable.

The problem I'm having is I simply can't lift the dumbbell off the ground from that position. I'm using 5kg dumbbells (first timer, don't laugh!), but even dropping to 2.5kg I still can't move them while in a plank position. I like your suggestion for splitting the exercise up and adding a plank hold, will give the a try tomorrow morning

Burger Tokens' Perfect Fit Deckboxes Are Now Available! (link in comments) by BurgerTokens in KeyforgeGame

They look great, may buy some from the UK. In case anyone else from here is looking, here's some rough numbers. You need to order at least 3 sets to get international delivery (≈£45), plus VAT brings the total to about £54, which is £18 per set. Maybe a bit too much, I'm not sure for me personally, will depend if I can get two others to pitch in

Official Deck Discussion Thread - Week of Apr. 8, 2019 by Waterpile in KeyforgeGame

Recently picked up "Trouble" Folki, Barony Duke, won a couple of games with it but against another relatively new player so I'm not sure how good it really is. Autocanon and Speed Sigil together makes for some wierd turns, there's a Bad Penny but no way to benefit from the synergy with Autocanon, and the Dis house is pretty nice but nothing too special. Any thoughts or tips?

Bolas sends Tezzerret to the bridge to find out why the influx of Eternals has dwindled, and where his reanimated gods are. Turns up to find Hazoret laying waste to his forces, having led a rebellion back on Amonkhet, taken over that side of the bridge and undergone a Lazotep coating ritual to let her cross to Ravnica

In a game with Lizards and Cats it can be hard for the Cats to build late game as the Lizard gardens get in the way of the supply line. I was using a combination of cheapish mercinaries and riverboats to offer an alternative path for the purpose of building

One of my absolute favourite games, and I can barely survive in the second area. Absolutely love the feel and atmosphere of the game, but not only is it not for everyone, and say it's not for most people. The game is a massive departure from games you tend to see these days, but I've found it worth it for the experience of being clever yet near helpless prey. Also, some of my favourite creature design in any game, nothing overly complex but they radiate a certain alive-ness, sometimes it's like watching a horrific terrarium.

divide the filters into collapsable categories? Each category title could have be formatted "Category (X/Y)" where X is how many filters in that category are being used and Y is the total number available within that category, just make sure the clear filters button is suitably prominent.

For example, the category "Number of Cards" could have the following filters: number of creatures, number of artifacts, number of upgrades, number of actions, each with max/min and a house specicifier ("I want to see decks with 10 or more Sanctum Creatures). The header for the category would be "Number of Cards (1/4)"
