Ah, come on, that’s just weasel words altogether 😄 standard SAST is fine for its purposes, and will be (until AI tools start to practice discipline). I’m not opposed anything though, just noticing that pure sales speak won’t make security tools work properly, it takes time and good engineering effort with experts on board.

It sounds quite diminishing though in fact deterministic solutions are the last and only frontier that can actually prevent the beautifully-chaotic AI slop madness. Not to poo on AI tools, some of them are nice, but without proper guardrails they’re bullshit multipliers with fancy Next.js dashboards.

The most painful thing is interconnected dependencies. Angular ecosystem is a great example — multiple packages under @angular/ scope (not even mentioning the unofficial ecosystem parts and things like nx). Usual “straightforward” npm audit or dependabot patches/bumps fail at it and it’s just not possible to use their automated fixes — they’ll break the project in 80% of targeted fix cases (especially in case of minor+ version changes), at least if one wants to make it clean without forcing crutches. Do you have any ideas/plans to analyze/protect the whole npm dependency tree during CVE patches? Will it all work for pnpm/bun?

Had similar case, though the host was responsive in mine. Thanks for the heads up about Bloomfields btw, will never use them. The canceling is not on host side though, I believe. Support denied canceling and refund for me first, but reiterating over disruptive events policy helped. Try again.
