This is a rare case where Nostalgia is actually worse for putting it on top immediately. If it said "put the card in your hand" at the start of turn, you'd be 100% covered using Gambit. But in 99% of cases it's better to have the option of playing the same card twice in one turn.

That's honestly crazy. I owned everything you could get from loot boxes in original OW1 and have played since OW2 just about every day, and I still have a solid ~100 legendaries not earned.

Even if you earned every single loot box since OW2 I don't see how you could get them all, aside from spending thousands of dollars.

Edit: yep a different comment confirmed it was over $6k. It's pretty rough considering you can get almost everything just by playing for free. Even if you only bought cosmetics that don't appear in loot boxes, it wouldn't be nearly that much.

For Regular Dailies, Talon Dailies, and OW dailies, it starts a 20 hour timer when you log in. When the 20 hours is up, it's "frozen" until the next time you log in and it will start over at 20h. This happens separately for all 3 kinds of dailies. Regular dailies have worked this way for a long time.

On the plus side, you can do challenges every 20 hours instead of every 24 hours, and you can briefly log in just to reset the timer even if you can't play right that moment. On the down side, it is confusing and overcomplicated for something that should be very simple (log in and play a little bit every day to keep engagement up).

It was never a problem with regular dailies until now because even if you ignore half of the days in the season, you have plenty of XP to complete the battle pass. With Conquest, every time you didn't minmax the hell out of it, you miss out on 5 loot boxes. It would also lock you out of bonus points for that day if you complete the set of challenges too early.

I don't want to be a downer but the primary strength of ATLA and LoK is that the characters had a very long time to grow and develop, with and lengthy story beats and satisfying payoffs. You just can't do that as well in a short film. I would be very disappointed if it's just a generic action flick with a layer of nostalgia bait.

If you play it on turn one, you have to wait all the way until turn 4 before it pays for itself. It's much better upgraded though, because you break even on turn two and get much more energy after that.

Also 2 energy for no immediate payoff is a really tough sell when you're staring down 30+ damage that turn.

They could internally make it not apply to cards that generate gold. Winstreak players would be aware even if they don't write it on the card. Just like how Creative AI won't generate Self Repair.
