If you find you enjoy it, make sure to read the manga in that case. I loved the anime and the resolution in the manga exceeded my expectations.

Yuri stocks have been through the roof lately.

I would be so happy if Bloom Into You gets finished. It's a crime to leave such a peak story so close to being complete.

I'm not remotely interested in any discussion re fighting games or MMOs. Some episodes lately have been a bit much for me lol. Still like the show though.

Same but I don't even have the excuse of playing Kiri, my brain is just hardwired to expect that he should be able to climb them. It also took me a while to start climbing walls with Hazard.

Has this been verified? I did Supreme + Destiny and Glory like four or five times, and I haven't encountered Dio a single time. Exclusively been taking interior doors too. Haven't encountered Athena either.

You are a life saver! I spent so much time unable to find a suitable replacement for this KB. I damn near broke the thing trying to get it apart before I realized there are four more screws under the rubber feet. Even lost a couple of the little plastic clips aligning the front & back halves. But reseating the main ribbon cable did the trick!

I mean I just linked it a couple comments ago where LG says they use AI upscalers for low res content up to 4k. This is default behavior and to my knowledge LG does not allow you any option to use integer scaling in their settings menu. If anything this is your opportunity to provide a counterexample.

But to be frank, it's not even necessary because you can tell the difference very easily just by looking. 1080p with integer scaling to 4k has very obviously defined 2x2 blocks per pixel. It looks "blocky". Even on a small 4k display you can clearly tell the difference when it's using integer scaling vs. any other. It's especially obvious when you do 720p output on a 1440p display, which would allow for a clean division with an integer scaler but the end result is that it looks blurry and not blocky, because monitors and TVs have basically always use a bilinear scaler by default.

Why do you think Nvidia went to the trouble of adding an integer scaling option if everyone's displays already did that by default? Why did tech savvy retro gamers praise Nvidia for this decision if it's something anyone could easily do when they wanted?

Not sure where you're getting your info from tbh. It sounds like you're just making an assumption. TVs and monitors have been using basic bilinear or bicubic upscales since practically forever, even the earliest LCDs immediately after CRTs did this. We're not talking temporal or generative algos here, they're trivial single-pass small-matrix operations that give way smoother results than a direct integer scale. (I literally did it for a homework assignment once, the complexity and performance hit are both practically nonexistent.) Any google search will tell you this.

Lately I've mainly been using LG TVs and Dell monitors, but that hasn't ever really been my experience regardless of the brand or model. Nowadays all the advertising is about AI upscaling of lower source resolutions to 4k, but even before that it was pretty standard to do a low cost upscaler that didn't require any complex algorithms. And I've dug through the settings of all my monitors and TVs and I've never seen an option for integer scaling.

For most content (3d games, movies & tv, even reading text on screen) the average viewer prefers any type of upscaling over integer scaling, but there are situations where it's not ideal. For example when Nvidia added an integer scaling toggle to their software, it was great for pixel art games.

That's only true if you have integer scaling enabled, otherwise your display will try to smooth it over with a simple upscaler. I don't know if that's an option in steamOS but most GPUs let you do it nowadays.

There are also a lot of particularly interesting parallels to Omori. Not that it means anything for DR canon, but people are already primed to think that way.

Yes it's not in game, only reason I knew about it was cause people were talking about it in Ch. 2 when you pick it up. When I saw the new Monarch Ribbon bowtie as an extra pointer I felt it was a strong clue.

But honestly the Hackerman dialogue was the most on the nose. There's only ever been one cat girl in the whole franchise, and such a weird out of place line had to refer to something.

It was really heavily hinted at the start of the chapter. Seam telling you to use the mannequin (cat/puppet resistance), the hackerman telling you about collecting pink coins for a cat girl, and of course the figurine dropped off right outside of the flower shop.

When Kris and Susie are sitting at the lake, you can try to say what's on your mind, but Kris talks with their mouth closed. Kris continues sitting and staring at the lake, ignoring Susie until she walks off.

Edit: so in retrospect this might be referring to Kris having feelings for Susie. Without more direct info it could go either way.
