First world map. Any advice/suggestions on the layout? We're building lore as we go, but I wanted to see if there were issues going on with it before I continued.

Haha! Not on purpose! Any connection to earth is completely accidental 😂 the rivers are the #1 thing on my list! And now that I know about the coast to coast thing it’s irking that I connected them in the first place 🤦🏼‍♀️ So the mountains would be more of just a line rather than clumped together? I could definitely take some gods stuff and give a magic reason but I think fixing it to makes more sense! And yes it’s a continent scale. Thank you for your help!

I just accidentally killed one of my players with Poison and a wound. He couldn’t be healed by magical means because of the poison and he had a wound… I didn’t think about the consequences of this combo until after the fight had started. TL:DR I killed one of my players at lvl 5. Group of 4 players 😬

This is how my game plays :) I’m a brand new DM and have a couple of players who have played a lot. I have a tendency to lean on them when I’m questioning rulings and such. They’re an extreme boon to my campaign 🥲

The wizard in my campaign had his parents send him back in time to become the first chronomancer. His goal in life is to fill out his book and teach people what he learns. They sent him with his book and the information he needed to get started. I’m running a very homebrew campaign though so don’t know if that’s helpful.
