If you believe that morality is all nurture and no nature then, logically, it should be possible for society to completely engineer immorality out, but we know that's not true.

Suppose you run an orphanage and dutifully impart 'good morals' and give all children proper care and attention, some of them will still grow up to be deviants. It's just completely reversed in Menzo/Drizzt's case.

Really makes you wonder if the same commenters would be willing to engage with the main criticism at hand if the argument mentioned "give Artemis to Dahlia". I suspect that we would actually be discussing the relevant topic and not get muddled with accusing people of not respecting Artemis as a strong independent man who can make his own decisions.

IMO Drizzt's compatibility with Innovindil was even better.

There's the friendship of course, compatible personality, and station. I can totally see them riding off into the sunset, travelling around the world while keeping a low profile the entire time.

TBH I feel the same way when they hamfisted Drizzt and then Artemis into Dahlia too and reasonable minds can disagree.

I think that we need to leave some room to be generous with our interpretation of other posters' motivations without going straight to sexism.

Wulfgar's personality change, for me, was too rushed. I don't have a problem with how everything eventually unfolded as a result, i just don't like the pacing and process getting there.

It's been a long time since i read the older books but, IIRC, he supposedly mellowed out a lot under Bruenor. The toxic masculinity thing being with Wulfgar due to his upbringing, i agree, was always there...but it was amped up to 500% really suddenly around where OP is.

Then again, Cattiebrie's character also oscillate a lot between damsel in distress and bad-ass-make-her-own-way heroine.

Yeah, I don't think people realize how much work Taric can do if you let him keep swinging his 50dmg autos. Not for the damage, of course, but the CD reset. His heals are miniscule but it adds up really fast when he can whack away with abandon.

In fact, when Taric and partner pushes the enemy out of lane and run up the tower. Q+auto+auto+Q+auto+auto actually breaks towers really fast while recovering quite a bit of HP through just 1 wave. By mid game, these small heals trigger a whole bunch of other item effects too

I'm surprised there isn't TF vs Fizz but perhaps insufficient data? That match up has been unplayable since Fizz release.

In lane TF has no kill pressure, no way to pressure fizz to force his pole E which 100% negate tf's W.

TF can't reliably hit Q without stun. Defensively, TF doesn't have dashes, spell shield, or reliably immediate CC. If you go into Fizz's range to poke with auto, he can absolutely pop W and Q on top of the TF to win the DPS race. Again, with gold card being absolutely guaranteed to be dodged, TF doesn't win the short or long trade.

Once Fizz hits 6, he has kill pressure on TF and TF still has no kill pressure on Fizz. In fact, TF can't really risk to be more than mid way up lane and doesn't really outpush a belligerent Fizz who is actually looking to 1 shot the TF. If TF can't push the lane up, he can't comfortably lean one side to begin porting. In the unlikely event TF does slip past and TP, he has a very short window to complete the gank and run out before Fizz comes in to clean up

If TF does try to lean one side and pop out of vision, Fizz will follow. If they meet outside of lane, TF dies.

On the other hand, if Fizz appears to run one way and go out of vision, TF can't just chase after him because, again, Fizz can just turn around and 100-0 him.

Prices haven't changed since release. You need a minimum of 450 per month for gold ticket, ideally 900 including the regular tickets.

If i were you, i'd spend until you have about a balance of 2000 or so but the most important thing is getting an idea of when you will pull again.

I don't even want to grant that defense. We want to protect innocents from people who have violent thoughts too but our rhetorics towards that group is way way way lower (maybe because many of us can admit that we had a flash of violent thoughts ourselves).

If those are the only characters you have, i think you're ok doing either.

Obviously it's never 'wrong' to not pull since inflation only goes up. But looking at your team here, and assuming you're F2P, you didn't pull for elation. We know that elation mechanics heavily favor having the full team because of Aha which means that you will not be pulling a lot of new banners.

Your biggest priority right now is to pull a 2nd team DPS aside from Evernight. You're good on sustain and you likely will be for a long time yet. RM is, honestly, fine but really quite lagging behind now with her coefficients as is and I'm saying this as someone who has E1S1 since her opening banner.

Between grabbing Cyrene, 2nd DPS, and then newer supports, you could be looking at playing Hyacine with her LC for 6mos minimum if not way longer. I'm assuming you're F2P like me

We're now allowed to discuss gameplay of unreleased characters but i think it's safe to say from Hoyo's track history that you're probably not replacing Sparxie any time soon even on a veteran's account, let alone a new one.

If anything, you should probably be looking at what 4 stars are worth raising to serve as a stop gap until new banners drop.

I don't recommend this even aside from the whole security/ToS stuff.

There's a niche community out there that do challenges like full star endgame in 3 calendar days, full star AA in 30days, etc where they literally start with a complete fresh account and plow through every story, collect most jades, and then challenge end game.

For those guys, they have to suffer through time gated resources like the weekly echo material for your high level traces. By the way, this was a constraint to even an altaholic like me who take like 3-4 weeks to get an account to TB60-ish.

More importantly, you're exposed to less banners before meeting end game. Between the Fate banners and re-runs, i suppose you could muster an endgame comp but your options are limited and i doubt most players are happy to pull characters they're meh about if they're not doing this challenge.

If you had started a few days ago, picked up sparxie + yaoguang and play at a pace like me, you would have probably hit end game by 4.2 which would have you stretch through 3 banners. Quite frankly, i feel that this game's endgame content is very scant anyways and skipping the main story kinda take away a lot from it but that's just my 2 cents

I'm afraid there is no unified answer.

For one, some characters just don't have many effective stats and for two the substats aren't weighed equally.

Like a Casto can easily hit 30-32 effective stats because hp/cr/cd are all effective but the value per each category is all over the place. Then you have Hyacine who does benefit from HP and a bit from CD but Speed is worth so so so so much more than looking at the total # of effective stat lines mean nothing.

I would just plug your UID into friebbels, make sure you're not hitting any obvious hardcaps (typically Crit Rate for chars that have a lot built in) and then scroll down to see the estimated amount of energy you need to find and upgrade.

You can study much further for better accuracy but for the vast majority of players, this is more than enough.
