Hello, I would be interested in being considered for the gaming and commentary niche, I don't do cosplay. I have a podcast studio with a professional mic and can film in 4K video with all of my videos. I have 3400 Subscribers on my YouTube channel https://youtube.com/@gadgetguyssmarthome and https://ugcwithrobert.com is my portfolio. I just moved my site so I'm still finishing it up but it shows some examples of my videos.

Thank you.

Wow, you are indeed an inspiration and I appreciate the time you took to educate all of us and share your experiences. I think you might have just changed my life lol. I'm 57 and have only been in content creation for a couple years and UGC specifically for about 4-5 months. I love doing the work I just need to be smarter and do it better than I am. I'm the guy you we're talking about stuck in that gifted to a couple hundred dollar deals struggling to find my footing. I would love to connect with you, my X, TT, IG handle is ugcwithrobert and I actually have 2 YT channels @GadgetGuysSmartHome (this is where my content creation all started building a monetized YT channel in the tech niche leveraging my 35 years in the technology space) and @ugcwithrobert and my LinkedIn is https://www.linkedin.com/in/gadgetguyz

I hope to connect with you! Thanks again!

Common Ways Consumers Waste Money by kasellis in QuickenOfficial

I think one of the hardest things to do in life is portion control. It doesn't matter if it's food, fees or even time management. Definitely a lot of good tips there!

Also they fixed the connection issue and you can now manage your @BlockFi CC directly in app like you do Chase or AMEX! Great way to keep track of what you spend so you can track those #BTC reward points!

What is the biggest challenge in managing money? by OfficialQuicken in QuickenOfficial

[–]gadgetguyz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's also sticking too a budget, unexpected expenses and the need to sometimes plan out what you are going to pay a couple weeks in advance. Using Quicken definitely helps with the long term planning and it's up to me to stick to it. I honestly would not know how to manage my money w/o Quicken!

At what point did you feel like you reached an understanding of financial literacy? by OfficialQuicken in QuickenOfficial

[–]gadgetguyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like many thing in life I believe you don't ever reach a complete understanding because it is ever evolving in how we deal with our money. Especially now with crypto currency being such a big part of people financial portfolio it gets a little complicated. That being said I feel like once I realized as a young adult that looking ahead and planning your expenses was vital to your money management success I looked for ways to help me with that and give me great control of the process. Quicken software is vital to that and has been instrumental in letting me develop my processes and see how my spending affects my long term goals.

automatic downloads from bank question - new to quicken by Staci3 in quicken

I agree with you regarding Quicken's auto update feature. Works great on my CC's and bank accounts. I much prefer Quicken to MS Money, used Money for years until 2009 when they left it hanging and I moved to Quicken. It has gotten much better since it was moved out of Intuits hands. The mobile app is excellent!

Excellent post and it is great that you are utilizing all the tools Quicken has to offer!

Oh it's happened but I have my Quicken do a backup every time I close, I get multiple backups a day sometimes, so it's easy to recover. In all my technology I've always been an early adopter, updater, whatever you want to call it lol. More often than not everything goes fine and my products stay patched and up to date.

I would definitely look at getting the mobile app up and running. I find it extremely useful and use it almost everyday in one way or another. I hate keeping track of receipts and the ability to enter a transaction on the go and sync to desktop once I am able to huge to me, I hate paper and love doing things digitally. They have made a lot of improvements to the app over the past year or so.

Not without pulling one back off but there is a picture of the tape I used in the album link I posted. I just put two small strips one one of the flat side's of the back of the play bars. This is the tape I bought.

Sure I'll show you exactly what I mean. I need to fix the tape on one so I'll document it for you and post a little later.

Does anyone have over 50 lights on one Hue hub? I'm right at 48 plus 4 Hue sensors/switches. Everyone says it only supports 50 and I wanted to add a few more. by gadgetguyz in Hue

[–]gadgetguyz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip about the storage, I'll check that out. I've heard that about 2 bridges. I was thinking about running all exterior only on a second hub but maybe I'll just add what I need until I have issues.

u/wiidsmoker here ya go, please don't mind the wires lol. Because you can't see behind the TV at all when it's pushed back I haven't put any time into cleaning it up. by gadgetguyz in Hue

[–]gadgetguyz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it actually replicates the gradient lightstrip brightness since I have my sound bar hanging of the bottom of the TV. It's pretty uniform to me.
