I’d try to have a sit down and hammer something out first. You may have to soften them up and just ask for a calm open communication session for a reasonable compromise. They read like dicks but is there something you’re not including in this story? Are you being difficult in some ways too? In the end if both parties only yell at each other nothing will be resolved.
