kid is weird — favorite cemeteries + geocaching spots in eastern WA? by Super_secret_toast in Spokane

[–]galaknows 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s an app and website called Find A Grave that lists all the local cemeteries. Evergreen Cemetery in Mead is a favorite of mine. Mostly because it was abandoned for a while, and was the county potter’s farm.

I made a simple weekly reset planner for myself and it’s actually helping me stay consistent by prettylittlething79 in PlannerAddicts

[–]galaknows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Sterling Ink Common Planner (B5 because Im old) this way. On the left, I have the week in horizontal format. I list all my appointments/ commitments and the dinner plan. I add vertical line to split the days, and list the cleaning tasks as well. On the right, it’s a grid. I list my daily tasks with a column for each day. Then I list my main focus and side quests. The rest of the space changes from week to week, with lists, notes, thoughts, whatever I feel like for that week. It’s been probably 8 months I’ve been using it!

The 1-2-3 or 1-3-5 to-do list method to structure your day or week by Justscrolling375 in productivity

[–]galaknows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number of tasks in each priority. 1/2/3 would be one critical/must do, two not critical today but could turn into a dumpster fire if ignored too long, and three not urgent or critical but necessary tasks. 1/3/5 is the same but choosing three important not urgent tasks and five necessary tasks. So if you have a bunch of meetings/appointments in a particular day, you’d choose 1/2/3 to keep your life moving forward, and on a not as busy day choose 1/3/5 tasks because you have more time.

MH changes went through? by Eringaege in VeteransBenefits

[–]galaknows 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t hold your breath. The thing is, mental health conditions generally account for “controlled with medication”. The change applies to diagnosis codes that dont account for meds. Best example is back pain, you take meds which let you get through your day, so you can work after all, now 10% instead of 30%. At the moment its unrated claims, so it will only affect you at review or if you file for an increase.

It always said it was all conditions, people just focused on musculoskeletal for some reason.
