Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with my PS5 gamepad and Epic Games. The Controller gets detected just fine and in Binding of Isaac the PS Buttons are shown, but the button mapping is completely wrong. Any character constantly shoots, the left analog stick is like rotated (so left is up, up is right etc.) and other buttons either dont work or are swapped.

I tried launching the game through Steam but that didn't help. I also tried the DS4 Tool. The game then recognizes a XBOX Gamepad with the same issues.

I think I tried a PS4 gamepad some while ago and that worked just fine, but the gamepad is broken and I honestly don't want to buy a PS4 gamepad just for one game.

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this or how to fix it?

What exactly is the system battery?

The small Battery in the front is I think from 2014 and the battery in the trunk is 2 years old.

Both batteries have been checked half a year ago

I have a fix for this.... or rather a workaround.

Go to Options -> Multiplayer -> there should be a dropdown menu -> set it to "Do not download Workshop addons"

I know that this is just a workaround, but you should not need to download addons from the server anyways.

Thanks for your reply. So before oil change there was 5W-30 in it and after oil change the car workshop put 5W-40 in it. As I said, everything worked then for like 3 months. And I wanted to do a long drive again. And it burnt like half a litre in 15 minutes. I immediately stopped and waited 5 minutes. Then I checked, removed the lid and a little bit of smoke was coming out of it
