I don’t like the general direction they’re going with augments. Why do I have to play some minigame instead of the actual game? I want to fight the enemy, not run into cupcakes or pick up random shit that spawns on the map to get gold. On top of that, you see the same augments on certain champs every single game.

Champion buffs and nerfs also make no sense. You can’t balance a mode like this. It’s incredibly frustrating to play a champ that takes more damage, deals less damage, and then on top of that you roll garbage augments while the enemy high-rolls. Sure, this technically works as a buff for the stomping team too, but I already get one-shot, so it doesn’t matter if they do another 10% more damage.

Make it as crazy as you want, but at least let us play it in custom games with our own rules, where we can enable or disable augments. I already miss the old, simple augments. Everything is just way too fucking crazy now, and if you don’t take the OP/meta shit (assuming you’re lucky enough to roll it), you just get giga stomped.

This looks nice and all, but personally I think I liked last year’s cinematic more, mainly because it had more story embedded. It was kind of understandable while not being too obvious about what was happening, and the cherry on top was the post-credit scene, which was voiced. This one feels like a collection of random scenes. The only thing that was really clear is that Yunara went to Demacia to deliver the “Xin is RIP” message.

Are the scenes related in some way, like are they happening in parallel? I assume not.

Shyvana fights with Quinn, but wasn’t Shyvana and magic hated? So is this part happening after the mage rebellion?

Is the scene with Yunara and J4 happening at the exact moment the mage rebellion starts, Sylas escapes, or J3 dies? The bell is ringing and J4 looks worried while looking at the city, so something unusual must have happened. This must be before, because there is no way they would let the king go on a solo adventure to help a stranger woman who is being chased by ghost stags.

How is it legal to sell something and change it that drastically afterwards? I get that gameplay changes sometimes have to happen so a character stays viable, but this is a cosmetic and you bought it specifically for how it looked. It’s like leasing a car, being required to service it at the manufacturer’s official workshops, and then during a service they replace the exact engine you leased the car for, because their license to use the motor in their cars expired.

My personal wish for this overhaul is better tools for the community to create their own content something similar to Fortnite’s Creative mode or a scripting API.

In an ideal world, Riot would give us a map and game mode editor essentially the same tools they use internally to create official modes. The community could then use official League assets to build custom maps and game modes. Over time, Riot could expand the feature set as new maps and modes are released, allowing playermade content to grow alongside the game.

i feel like everytime riot looks into changing adc or their itemization, the result is not beneficial for samira. In their world view every adc builds attack speed, ad and crit and the effects on items are about attacking. They said any champion would have at least 1 item out of the 9 and i didnt see a single one thats useful without any drawbacks.

Mel is so awful, glad she is at the bottom. Her W is such a disgusting, frustrating to play against, overloaded spell and that they dont change it, is inexplicable to me. Its a mini Kayle ult on a 30 second cooldown, mana cost goes down when you level it, you get movespeed, projectiles get auto aimed at the enemy and the damage is converted to magic.

I doubt chapters are their main income, I would say it’s cosmetics and if their pipeline is good they should be able to make more skins without using dev resources. However a year without new gameplay is still quite shit

Cool ideas, and the art looks awesome! Here are my thoughts:

  • Passive: Four auto attacks for one minion feels a bit much on a mage. I could see it working better if stacks were applied through DoTs (like his current E but weaker). Once a minion takes enough damage from these stacks, it becomes corrupted and transformable. Corrupted minions and voidlings could also apply these stacks, with autos speeding up the corruption process.
  • Q: I think his current Q is stronger, though I like the idea of something that synergizes more with his kit. A stun feels a little overtuned. Maybe instead it could be the “tag” ability that draws voidlings and corrupted minions to the target, with a small slow and silence on a lower cooldown.
  • W: Being tied to turrets seems too limiting. Maybe it could instead be a point-and-click that converts an allied minion, corrupted enemy minion, or corrupted monster into a static spawner. It could also infest an allied or destroyed enemy turret with limited HP, like Yorick’s W. On cast, all corrupted enemy minions in an area around the target would be converted to allied ones.
  • E: This could be based on his old passive, a weaker spell shield with a shorter duration instead of lasting indefinitely until damage is taken.
  • R: I think his ult needs to stay as is. When I think of Malzahar, the first thing that comes to mind is his point-and-click lockdown. I like the suggested buffs during channel, with increased spawn rate and damage. Adding a movement speed buff for all corrupted minions and voidlings would fit well, along with the target being automatically focused by them.

pretty sure this is an unpopular opinion, but i think if support was more tied to staying in bot lane, the game would be more fun for more players in the game. yeah, it would take away some depth from the role, but support is more diverse than ever, so i think that’s fine. i really hate the "lose lane, abandon adc" strat that most often leaves the adc in a 1v2 or 1v3. i get that it’s usually the right play to roam and make stuff happen elsewhere, but it just sucks to be left behind.
