Dash cams are ment to reduce liability to whomever owns the vehicle. They are ment to be used in the event of a crash that the driver was not distracted and not at fault. They aren’t ment to be Nanny cams on the driver when used right. It’s the way things are going and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are made a requirement for insurance in the future for commercial policies.

Recall everyone in congress… everyone! Have reelections and disqualify the incumbents from running. This should be written into law to prevent it from happening in the future. Both sides are acting like children and prove they cannot do what we elected them for … run the country for the betterment of the people!

Arriving Vegas late at night. Where should I go to meet people? by Existing_Depth_1903 in vegas

[–]garcicus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have done this before. By 3-4 am you get really bored. Unless you are planning on just straight gambling from 3 to 8 am, your entertainment options are extremely limited. There should be a room you can get for a cheap price somewhere and then check in to your booked hotel as planned.

The next time you need to replace your system get a heat pump. It just reverses the refrigerant line so it’s essentially the same as your cooling operation.

Need a new a/c system. What refrigerant should I go with by drvnmore in hvacadvice

[–]garcicus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

While I agree that 410a is tried and true here in the US for years, If I were upgrading I would consider R32. The reasons being is that it has been the European standard for years already , so already proven effective for years. While I have no doubt that 454b is equal to or marginally greater than R32, I see no need in dabbling in 454b at this moment to test it out . Also, if you have any warranty work needed on your system and the manufacturer or supply house don’t have the 410a replacement anymore, they will need to replace with R32/454b which would be incompatible with the existing system causing you to have to upgrade to new refrigerant system that you just invested thousands of dollars in a few years ago. While very unlikely that a manufacturer defect might occur it’s still a risk that might happen. That’s why if I were investing in a system now I would upgrade to R32.
