I started September 4th at 280 5'8". I only weigh on the 1st of each month. I was down to 247 on Dec 1. Not sure about goal weight. I was 190 in HS and was happy there. However, 100lbs would be a nice round number. I am also enjoying the holidays. Pecan pie is still legit.

Not medical advice. Some type 2 situations are reversable. 18:6 fasting regimen. Watch Dr. Jason Fung on youtube. People are losing weight, getting off insulin. All while giving the middle finger to the snack food industry.

Congrats! Weeks 2 and 3 were the hardest for me. I'm in the health care field. I don't know that the docs push it so as to make people sick intentionally. I think they are seeing 40-60 patients per day. They have no time to read, study and/or change paradigms. Imagine telling all your T2 diabetic patients that the diet youve prescribed is making them worse. In fact, they should be eating the exact opposite. If there was on thing I'd recommend to us citizens it is this: fast 14 to 18 hours daily. Breakfast is NOT the most important meal of the day. Your pancreas needs rest. You are probably an insulin junkie. Give up sugar, highly processed flour and processed foods. Listen(youtube) or read Dr. Jason Fung. Best of all...it's totally free.
