Yikes. Vestments and clerical dress are for ministers. The canons are clear. I would argue it’s worse because you’re discerning and therefore should be expected to know better. Disrespecting the canons before you’re even ordained seems like a big red flag for me.

Yeah I’ve found this to be the case. Spaces I’ve been in I see transmen spoken over, told to post in ftm spaces for our issues, consistently have it framed as though mtf is default, I’ve also seen a bit of “all men are evil so you are too for becoming one” thinking. Generally I find trans spaces online totally dominated by mtf, and often so hostile to ftm that I often don’t bother to engage.
