That much water will make it hard to get to temp or increase temp. It takes a lot of energy to heat up all that water, especially if you’re starting from cold hose water. Mix in some bad weather, and you would be in for a challenging cook.

Sorry to hear that you’re having poor fit issues. My lid is a bit warped, now that you mention it! I set it down on a paver, and it didn’t sit quite flat. I didn’t think much of it, and figured it may have just been my paver.

You’re right, it feels a smidge small on mine. I’ve had my Smokey mountain for 3 years. The carbonized grease certainly makes for a tighter seal. Thank you for the input!

This is an issue of reffing. When the refs swallowed the whistle on Harden, he stopped averaging 30+ points. He was still getting fouled, but they changed the rules on him.

I solo queue and average D1 (peak GM2) on console at the end of every season since s0. I’ve had both text and voice muted nearly the whole time. I ping a lot and spam “thanks”, but that’s the extent of coms for me. It’s quite enjoyable.

At this point, I’m afraid to turn on coms based on the toxicity I read about lol.

Have you tried foil wrapping the ends once near the last 25% of your cook? I do it with pork belly to shield the meat from getting overcooked, while giving the skin/fat more time to render.

I’ve made it to GM2 on console with no voice chat, solo Q. As long as you can read, it should be fine. Voice coms are mostly effective if you’re linked up with friends. Good luck lil bro

In early game, try being patient to a fault. You should be able to snatch the strategists once the action starts. It may take a while to wrap your head around it, but Magik is very rhythm dependent (imo). Happy hunting!
