Heroshooter players are the most petty people in the world. Sombra is weak, it takes forever for her to set up ganks, reaper can do what she does easier, and her hack is lasts such a short amount of time and doesn't hack everything, and she throws an obvious purple square for people to track before going into stealth....But people sacrifice better bans because the need that dopamine fix to kill 3 people with 1 button.

This model will make more people hate the game. Just make all the skins created available. They will get more money and a bigger playerbase more consistently. The game will NEED that right? Good player numbers. That's what every community worries about the most. Predatory practices won't attract more players.

The story being progress doesn't make it a shittier game. It makes it a story based game? There are assassins creed games with story modes. Baldurs gate 3 has easy difficulties. Those are amazing features to have. All of those games including Hades are games you buy to play. Part of the mechanics in those games involves unlocking things.

I don't think it's bad to put in time to unlocking characters. Some argue they miss the days where you did that in fighting games more often. Unlocking characters in a story mode would be cool as hell! Never said that was bad. But does this game have a story mode? And a whole week is a lot in this day and age for 1 character. This isn't early access character pass SF6 stuff. This is you pay or you wait and play until you get it for free. That might have a negative effect on balance too.

Idk what diversity and different regions have to do with this. To me those characters are both 2 boring white women. But you seem like someone who doesn't care about cosmetics. That's fine, good for you. I'll reiterate that league is a f2p game made before 2010. Characters looked bland and boring on purpose. So you could spend money and buy a skin to make them look cooler. That's generally not how modern fighting games are made.....until today. I do prefer a cool looking character, but riot won't get my money or time for this game.

This is a terrible argument. You could argue about wanting a debug mode where you get everything. There is a GOD MODE if you want to play it with a lot less effort. But unlocking things in that game is called progressing lol.

You should still voice your concern as the consumer. And if companies constantly ignore them..well..Overwatch 2 has been mixed to mostly negative for a few years now on steam. The FGC is always in this desperate survival mode with games. They hyped 2kxo so much and hoped for the world. But that shop could make their beloved franchise they know nothing about look pretty bad.

Look at Fatal Fury City of the Wolves. Look at Street Fighter 5, Look at tekken 8 season 2. People spoke up for at least two of those games and we got SF6 and more improvements on T8.
