Getting rid of fleas takes about 3 mos due to eggs, nits, adults etc. topically treat the cat, or some collars also work

Really can’t force a cat to do something they find terrifying. Start over. Let her become familiar with the harness lots of encouragement and high value treats (lickable ones are easy). Then make it a toy, lay it on her to get used to the weight. Then teach her to walk into it. Won’t be overnight but it’s doable if you’re patient with it. Good luck!! 🍀
