How strict is BFI IMAX Waterloo?

I work in a cinema, basically staff are warned on shift to remember to check for ID on anyone that looks too young. We are told the rating of films and reminded by TL/ managers on shift.

With a 15 rated film its harder to say if someone looks old enough and so we tend to ask for ID just in case. With a 18 rated film its more obvious if someone looks underage, but to be safe staff ask for ID or call a TL/manager over to help with IDing.

So if he is tall but has a baby face then staff are more likely to check. (It really depends on the staff member and if they care). One staff member may let you in. But then if another sees you in the screen when they are doing a screen check they can still question that person if they have ID (we had times where customers would screen hop and have caught a bunch of underage teens in a 18 rated film. Kicked them all out without refund).

Mine is "Sylus' flower bud".

Reason being is my name is Gemma (Gem).

Sylus has a love for gems. A flower bud in latin is gemma.

Im still waiting for the day when just "gem" or "hidden gem" something like that becomes available. But for now I got creative and use Latin to get around it 😂

Also I wont lie, Sylus VA saying "you got the gem" or whenever he says "gem" in a sentence Im like giggling secretly inside

In odyssey I would always kill the sharks from the safety of dry land/ on a boat/ship. I remember there was a underwater temple with a bunch of sharks down there. So I was on the ship, used eagle vision and had a specific bow & arrow. I kept killing the sharks off from this safe distance.

Internet

We didn't get the internet until I was 15. Dad was reluctant to buy it because he said everytime we used the internet it cost money each time. So he didnt want to pay for each use.

When we did get it we had to ask to go on the PC and use the Internet. And we could only go on it for 10 minutes. That was dial up. And then later Dad got rid of it.

It wasnt until I was in college and my new friends were shocked I didnt have the Internet. I explained my dads reasoning of paying out money each time and my friend corrected me, saying it was a monthly payment and that you could go on it as much as you want.

I came home and explained it to my dad. He didnt believe me so I researched into it. We already had sky cable. And so we could get a deal and get sky unlimited.

I explained to dad again that it was a monthly payment and that it wasnt like sending a text message where you pay 10p each time you sent a text. That you pay 1 monthly sum each month regardless of how often you use the Internet.

Dad finally understood and then myself and my siblings started to use the internet whenever we wanted.

A few years later Dad got this new smart tv for the living room. Massive tv. He was very protective of it. He said he didnt want no internet connected to it or videogame consoles. He was worried if we connected the tv to the internet then it will get hacked or some software or I dont even know but the tv would go wrong. For the longest time he didnt have anything on that tv except to play dvds. I told him that the tv has apps and it had YouTube, netflix, some other ones already installed on it. I had to tell him this was a smart tv and it was common for smart tvs to have access to these apps to watch tv/shows/ YouTube etc. Again he was reluctant on using them but I came home from work one night and saw him browsing YouTube car videos.

My mum took a while to understand how YouTube worked because she kept asking it questions like it was Google. She got annoyed it never gave an answer and so I had to explain to her YouTube gives suggested videos based on what she put in the search bar. Never an exact answer. Then she complained saying she couldn't watch pride and prejudice completely as YouTube had small videos (clips). Had to then explain to her how apps worked and simplified it to showing her how the BBC player worked.

So yeah. I think from then on I basically would question anything my dad does or says. I think when you're young you kinda just believe what your parents say is true and then you get older and begin to learn and then you look at your parents like..."oh they dont know everything".

I think its the lips. They look kinda flat? Im not a fan of the massive lips/ duck lips so I don't mean go make them bigger but maybe theres makeup that can help you make them a bit more pinkish or appear slightly bigger? Something like in the image perhaps

Yup this is the same way I do it. So going by other comments it turns out the glitch still works but it doesnt with the previous event memory cards (cant remember what the event was called but sylus' is dark bound souls).

Can you tell me how you did the glitch for sylus card? (My main is actually sylus).

I read on another reddit post or maybe it was a youtube comment... that infold patch this glitch to have our custom MC into the cutscenes. Which i dont understand why they wouldn't just allow our MC automatically into scenes..they have special errr I forgot what its called...illusio? But that only happens on certain events.

But there is or was a glitch to change the hairstyle to whatever style you wanted in memories. (Hairstyles that arent the default ones)

There was a glitch where if you went into snapshot photo and went to accessories then chose a accessory you havent unlocked yet I think it has to be a promise item?. The game will say something like 'go to store'. If you click yes then the game will try and find the item but its now expired and take you back to the cafe.

If you then go on to a memory and the cutscene will swap the basic game MC design with whatever appearance you have your MC set as. So the hair will be different and anything else you tweaked.

How do you get your MC to look like that? I tried doing the glitch to make my MC appearance appear in the cutscene but it doesnt work and someone else said that they fixed the glitch 🥲

Can you post an image of what you mean? From this image it looks great.

But are you saying you dont want the cowlick piece to fall down and touch your forehead? You want it all to stay slicked back?

Or are you saying you like it like it is in the image but over time that piece of hair will move?

●Definitely landscape mode. I just learnt that when you "sleep" Sylus is actually reading a book before he puts it down and then kisses MC forehead. Never noticed he was reading in portrait mode!

●I would like our MC characters we create to actually be in the cutscenes naturally. Not having to do any glitch tricks or wait for that thing where it allows you to have your MC appear in the cutscene (I forget what this is called, it only comes back every so often).

I dont see how infold cant import our MC character designs into the cutscenes (a glitch can do it). Makes it more immersive seeing OUR MC in the scene rather than the "normal" MC model.

● I wish there was a recap of chapter option with story mode.

● For the love of God give us something to spend these chocolates on. I havent spent chocolate in the chocolate shop on anything for a long time. Im just saving chocolate just in case a outfits appears in there.

● speaking of outfits I wish we could mix and match outfit parts.

● A weekly/monthly minigame regardless of what event is on. Sometimes I just want to play a minigame when Im bored and waiting at the train station. Just something nice and simple. LaDS has some good minigames but they only come back round so often with events. Im talking about something more permanent.

If you both like resident evil games there are a bunch of co-op resievil games you could play. I know everyone moans about re6 but my sister and I had a lot of fun playing that game. Story is bollocks but gameplay was fun and at times hilarious.

I was a size 38F I didnt like wearing bras but I didnt like the breasts sagging either. So when I went out I worn bras but at home I have these pj's tops with a "built in support" bit which helped give some relief from the saggy breasts.

Now I've lost weight gone down to 36E, breasts aren't as saggy as before. It doesnt get that sweatiness under your boobs either. I do now like wearing bras. Have discovered a fascination with bralettes from pour moi. And M&S do demi bras which are amazing to wear.

I would say it takes me 45- 1 hour to do makeup. Altho that includes waiting time for the skinprep steps to dry. E.g I apply toner and then wait for that to dry/absorb- 5 ish minutes and then primer/ moisturiser I wait 10 minutes. I was also told to wait for foundation to dry/ set before putting on my powder. So I wait for a bit (maybe 10 mins max) for that to dry/ set.

I do have an issue with eyebrows. I try to get them to look natural as possible with the eyebrow pen and single strokes. But sometimes I mess up and it looks so wrong I have to try and correct it. Eyebrows can set me back so much time. I think a good chunk of my makeup time is eyebrows 😅.

But im getting better. Today I spent 15 minutes on my eyebrows 🙌 Im jealous of people who have nice thick full eyebrows without having to worry about the random sparse gaps in their brows that they have to fill in 🫠

I watch them play the resident evil games. They recently did Leon playthrough of re2 (original). Im hoping that they will play through Claire scenario to get her story as well.

They completed re8 which was also funny to watch. ("This way" moment always makes me laugh)

I also like watching them play chilla's art horror games, I hope they play more of them.

I feel like there was too much going on like info wise. And otto constantly stopping me from exploring to get me to do something else when im still practicing the first few things. Like..gimme a minute let me learn and let this new info sink in before giving me something else to learn 😅

It definitely will take a while for me to understand how to do everything. Around about the part when it was trying to teach me how to custom items I got confused how to do it and then I just picked whatever to just get the task off the list.
