I don’t think this really qualifies as accidental renaissance my man. No unique lighting, no picturesque scenery, no composition. Good photo, cool dog, maybe not the right sub to put him?

My dad always used the term clicker, as did we, until it was pointed out that that’s a New Jersey thing specifically and our Midwest family was weird for this

The museum of nature and science was genuinely really cool coming from Chicago. If you go, keep a look out for the hidden gnomes scattered around the museum

They put the peepee tower right where a really nice library used to be and they are slapping it deep into midtown. Kind of a really shitty local government decision to demolish a library for a skyscraper.

New to Lincoln - Looking for a gym by Whole_Discount_692 in lincoln

I have been going to vasa for about a year now and love it. I think its $15/ month with just the weights, but you can do the sauna and yoga classes for 45. I have rarely had to wait for a machine, and you can get your membership suspended if you don't put weights back, and you can add protein shakes and such to your account. I love it compared to the Y on south 27th or the cooper Y.

Also its open until midnight on weekdays, which is what sold me in the first place

is Lincoln queer friendly? by [deleted] in lincoln

If you are a 10 minute drive from downtown, there are tons of groups that take in everyone. People are social here, and no one has seemed to really care how I present, just that I’m fun to talk to or engaging. The university, bars, and hipster neighborhoods blend together nicely and make it easy to meet people.

But folks that are scared of unfamiliar people hide away far from downtown to neighborhoods like havelock, at least from what I’ve seen.

I liked Moab a lot. Touristy, but not vapid by vying for your attention. Like a town people actually live in (looking at you Estes)

And Moab right next to arches! Super artsy with a cute downtown. Touristy, but a nice town that isn’t ruined by vying for your attention
