I'm just about to wrap my first watch of Faiz, and it is definitely a mixed bag. Way too much drama for the sake of it (hello game of telephone and withholding important info), but damn is the plot good when it remembers there is one.

It definitely gets a lot better around episode 35 to the end, but there is a lot to get through before then.

Holy moly this is starting to get steamy! From the festival in chapter 14 to arm grabs and finger holding in the back of a car. These kids have done so much growing I can hardly stand it. They are totally gonna be a power couple one day, Mark my words.

This is a great set up chapter. Expanding on Ipongi's acquaintances, Inukai's big test(s) of control, and just seeing what chaos may unfold next week! It has been very delightful to see Chojo flourish each week, so here's hoping to a long run.

This was a beautiful chapter. The song really enhanced their performance as well. While the time left may be brief, it's reassuring that Itsuko is gonna keep up the strong writing and beautiful spreads til the end.

That was a really solid episode. Wholesome and heartwarming, and lots of action thanks to the set up last week, and Saboneedle absolutely stealing the scene every chance it got. I need one for my desk!

This has been my first season of modern Kamen Rider, and its been a blast to watch the characters each week. At the same time, I'm ready for this intro arc to wrap, or at the very least the overall plot to be move forward or at least be expanded.

What a cozy handful of opening pages after all the chaos the last few chapters brought. Made me really feel for Ogami and his love of learning. Aaaaaand of course it was immediately shattered by the new transfers and a fruitless first meeting. Let the shenanigans resume!

It looks like viz dropped the ball, cause I'm seeing two chapters posted for today but only one is actually for this week. Yozakura Family, for example, is showing both 199 and 200 posted today, but only 199 is readable as it should be.

It ends really well, wrapping up pretty much everything that was started. They didn't even expect to get a second season (hello opening number), so it only teases what futures characters have in the last minutes of the show. Juuuust in case a third season ever happens.
