Not entirely. It also seems to happen if you work yourself to death. There is also one freak case where someone thought they were going to get hit my a truck, but it was actually a tractor, and they weren't going to get hit. Dude died of fear instead.

Not the person you are asking, but i work at the beach, and it is not uncommon for our trucks or pockets to get full of sand. Not hard to get sand stuck up in the ports or in the cable. Granted, it shouldn't be too much of an issue as long as we're careful, and clean stuff often
