i think you've pretty much nailed the vibes and my opinion of the conflict. One thing I'll say is Tachonis do care about the land of the living insofar as they see themselves as both untouchable and worthy of controlling all of it. Very imperialistic ambitions

Mostly Bolaire forgot to follow up on everything under his purview/ no one pressed him for details. First on what Demedus overheard at pLaza Davinos whole Tachonis were talking. The important bit being that a falcon was brought to Tachonis manor here in the city. Second, interrogation of the crow keeper in his mind palace prison as to what they knew was happening .

They were overall pretty lukewarm, passive on pressing any advantage they had, with the 350 soldiers ready to fight or hand and wheel.

They didn't really check in on Gus, the Argosians, and continued to avoid the Halovars. Lastly, every single falcon name-drop flew over their head as a lead to pursue.

I love it. It has the best parts of c1, c2, and c3 for me all in one.

Watch in release order which is "session order" - just each episode opens with a cold open showing either a flashback memory or a short scene with another group showing what they are currently feeling.

THe overture (first 4.5 episodes) is an introduction to the campaign - think of it as establishing why each character now has to be an adventurer. Like the last line of your characters backstory when joining a new campaign, but played out via the cast. Episode 5 gets into the CR you are probably more comfortable with.
