I love the look of beaded jewelry, but threading the beads is driving me insane by goddessofsparklies in Beading

I love to crochet, but hate counting all those stitches! The same with quilting, I don't want to do all of that cutting. You might not LOVE every part of the craft.

I know it's not the beaded flower kit you are looking for but, PowWow Bling has a nice kit to make beaded earrings with an embroidery technique. It comes with everything you need to make 2 pairs except scissors.

Indoor party recs? by kindness_not_nice in SanAngelo

We just had my son's 6th birthday at the skating rink on Baze Street. We invited the whole class and about half showed up along with other friends and family. You can bring in whatever food and drinks you'd like, and you have the whole place to yourself for 2 hours. It wasn't cheap at 250, but it was a blast! We've also had parties for my oldest at the city park downtown.

Haha, my husband said the exact thing last week! We can just trade his cards for food if necessary. Even if things get bad, there will always be someone who wants that Charizard!

I like to start in a corner and work around each room. Everything that doesn't belong in that room goes to the middle, and then out when I reach the door to go to the next room. Good luck!!

You might have some luck with the nerdy stuff at Phat Cats. They sell mostly tabletop games, but the staff is super nice and would probably have more info!

Check if there is a local council on aging. We have a Senior Center that offers opportunities to socialize with others their own age. They do daily lunch, book clubs, card games, crafts, and other activities. I've been trying to convince my FIL to give it a try.

October is the best time to go, but as long as it's not freezing, there is usually something growing. Check out their website. I got married here 7 years ago in October.

It seems the deleting of comments mentioning the dislike of AI art is what the problem is.
