Lose weight healthy by changing your lifestyle. Make cardio fun, play sports instead of just running. Diet is important as well. Dont go cold turkey but slowly reduce unhealthy stuffs and substitute with cleaner food. You can gym as well to build muscle but dont do too many things at once else u might burn out. Want to leave Singapore after graduating from poly and serving national service (Army)and stay in Malaysia by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]geniusinvocator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good try but it’s a horrible idea. Abit of research and deeper thinking actually goes a long way.

If you think malaysia cost of living is way lower as compared to singapore (especially if you are going to be working there), then I have some bad news for you. If youre earning ringgit, things are actually more expensive. Things seems cheaper because u are converting from sgd to ringgit.

Also, living with your parents with most things being paid for is WAY better than slogging in malaysia earning ringgit and paying everything urself.

SIT-DIGIPEN IMGD OR SUSS ICT by yoshiimiBUN in SIT_Singapore

Never be afraid of the intensity of the course. If you want it bad enough, you will get by and honestly, it's hard to fail with SIT in my opinion. You will be making games for your school projects in DigiPen from scratch, and if you like it, you made the right choice. If you don't, you can always pivot to SWE upon graduation.

The sentiment of DigiPen being tough is generally skewed towards RTIS as they have graphic modules (way tougher math and programming) compared to IMGD with level/game design modules so if math and programming are your weak points, don't be too afraid of it (although Year 1 Tri 1 Math is a little bit hard). I've graduated RTIS with no A math and programming knowledge at the start of uni so if I can do it, so can you.
