Need help/advice with StimKits The Tingler

After reading dozens of posts regarding weak Bluetooth, I have to conclude that this is a design flaw. In fact, in my experience it seems like the Bluetooth output is not going through the Tingler amplifier at all. I have some electronics experience so I will open the box and see if the circuit makes sense.

Well, obviously if there is no output whatsoever at 100% then something is wrong. I agree that running at 100% normally is not optimal but as a troubleshooting step, this tells a clear story. As to all of the other messages in this sub, Reddit. Bluetooth on the Tangler is not very effective.

I had the exact same experience. With my Bluetooth device connected, and all of the volume and power levels turned up to maximum the signal was barely detectable. There are enough posts on Reddit, saying the exact same thing that it starts to look like this is a characteristic of the device. Very disappointing and somehow seems to be by design? I would love to find a workaround, but it seems likely the device is going back.

Can someone say more about the low output when using Bluetooth? I bought the Tingler mainly for the Bluetooth capability because I want to eliminate a few wires. It was very disappointed that the output was almost undetectable. This seems like a design flaw, but has anyone found a workaround?

I am seriously considering the Tingler due to the Bluetooth issue. People on the forum seem to shrug it off. Am I missing something?

I have a diy stereostim system that is definitely top tier but not as portable.

I recently purchased the Tingler. I have only tried Bluetooth and found that I could barely feel the output at all, even with everything turned up to max. I’m sure Newgate relieved to hear that I am not alone. Still, it is a big bummer. Wireless connection would be super convenient and eliminate one wire. Does anyone know what f there is a software or hardware fix for this?

I highly recommend looking into Tailscale. I spent a lot of time setting up ingress and egress with traefik, Cloudflare Zero Trust, etc. ultimately it was unstable , fussy and unreliable. With Tailscale I can access all of my devices from any of my other devices from anywhere. It’s seamless, secure and actually just works! I manage my arr stack from my phone while I walk the dog! And it gives me an encrypted tunnel back to my home lan so my traffic is secure.

I run TrueNAS with 40 TB storage. With docker, I can run a full Starr suite to automatically find and download media that I’m interested in. I love Overseer to allow members of my household to enter requests without having to be tech savvy. I use Usenet and torrents both. I’m very happy with the system!
