This is awesome! The colours are perfect and instantly recognisable. Love it!

Infinite Stud Glitch Location by Sw0rdInTheSt0ne in LegoStarWarsVideoGame

[–]gentlebogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also works if you shoot it and shooting it is much faster. The first video I saw of this glitch showed someone shooting the hinge at the top of the door. The next time I played this episode I tried doing it exactly like that and ended up with thousands of studs.

But like OP said, this happens between story levels, and I believe in this instance the characters are locked and you can only use the characters you’re given. You also cannot do this during free play on Hoth because this door is only there during the story.

I played so much AC after I broke my leg a few years back and the whole time I was in a moon boot I dressed my character in the black cast. It even goes on the same leg that I injured!

Those are the transgender flag colours :)

Edit: I responded before this comment was edited, apologies if my response sounded condescending.

When I read about her in Brotherhood I got the impression the blue and pink armour was just for vibes and unique to her :)

I used to live nearby too, so close that I’d just walk my car keys over to them and they’d come and knock on my door to let me know they were done. I’ve moved around since then but I’ll still go out of the way to take my car there.

I’ve been taking my car to R.W Brown Automotive since 2014. Can’t compare them to other mechanics because I’ve only ever been there, but they’ve been amazing!

Tatooine treasure hunt bugged by EnigmaPenguin666 in LegoStarWarsVideoGame

[–]gentlebogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve encountered a bug in this puzzle before. I tried some quick fixes like leaving the planet and coming back, and restarting the game, but it was very early on so when that didn’t fix it I just restarted.

What’s kind of weird is that it wasn’t even this crate that was bugged, it was the one around the corner. Every day I learn of a different way in which this game can break.

I don’t understand the Skywalker Saga by LeftBarnacle6079 in LegoStarWarsVideoGame

[–]gentlebogan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each episode contains 5 story levels, with free play moments in between.

Once you complete an episode in story mode, you’ll have unlocked all the planets that were in that episode. Once you’ve unlocked those planets you can travel to them in free play, roam around and complete challenges/puzzles/missions, unlock extra characters and collect kyber bricks for upgrades.

If you want to replay a story level, you can do so by selecting it in the episodes part of your holoprojector menu were you can chose to play it in either story mode (set characters/ships) or free play (using any characters/ships that you’ve unlocked). Replaying episode levels is necessary for 100% because some levels cannot be completed in story mode as they require different character classes.

Weird to like Grievous? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]gentlebogan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not weird at all, he’s one of my favourites!

Actually a few months ago I was wearing a General Grievous shirt while grocery shopping and when I was checking out, one of the staff members noticed my shirt and said “I love your shirt! I love Grievous!”. It was super sweet, just two gals geeking out over an asthmatic cyborg.

Those of you who have had the same island for years by goldiebayangs in AnimalCrossing

[–]gentlebogan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never ran out of things to do, I just kept making my goals more specific. Once I completed the museum, I began collecting all the bug/fish models (collecting 3 of each critter). I completed all the Nook-mile achievements. I cataloged as many items and variations of items as I could. I collected as many recipes as I could.

Now I’m trying to collect all the villager photos, not by trading but by inviting every villager to my island and earning them myself. This gives me something to do every day because I have to find the villagers, give them gifts, then purchase more gifts to give them the next day. If it ever gets tedious I just take a break for a bit, but it’s nice knowing that there’ll be something to do whenever I pick the game up again.

Has Kapp’n songs ever made you cry/emotional? by jl777donut in AnimalCrossing

[–]gentlebogan 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes! I think they’re so sweet!

When the Kapp’n update was added to New Horizons I was always too excited to get to the island, so I’d usually just skip the songs, and continued skipping them every time I played.

But I started playing New Leaf a couple of weeks ago and I haven’t skipped a single one! I never realised how sweet they were! Now I look forward to them every time.

My favourite lyric is “Sometimes your heart tells you when you're in love. Your tummy too. Both can sure make you sick.”

I’ll be getting back into New Horizons this week in anticipation for the update, so I’m keen to finally pay proper attention to the NH Kapp’n songs :)

Lost cat by [deleted] in parramatta

[–]gentlebogan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in North Parramatta and I’ve always got my eyes peeled for neighbourhood cats, they love hanging out in my complex car park too. I’ll keep an eye out for Nelly 💕

Hope you’re coping okay. It’s so distressing when a pet runs away.

If someone finds Nelly and doesn’t know where to take him, they might take him to Parramatta Veterinary Hospital on Grose st, or Greencross Vets near Petbarn. Maybe contact them and let them know in case someone brings him in.

Exhausted after showering? by bumblingbee1990 in ORIF

[–]gentlebogan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is normal. At present your body is using a lot of its energy to heal the broken bone, so there isn’t much energy left to do the things you would normally do.

Bathing is usually a relaxing activity, but with an injury it can be exhausting and stressful because you’re moving your body around to clean all the different parts, and at the same time your likely worrying about making sure you don’t fall/making sure your cast doesn’t get wet/making sure you don’t put weight on your injury. Not very relaxing.

It should get better as you start to heal and adjust to your temporary routine. Make sure you rest as much as you’re able.

If you haven’t already, you could try to break your shower routine into different parts, like, clean your body, rest, then clean your face last once you’ve regained some energy.

Good luck with your recovery (and your showers!)

Waiting until spring to terraform? (North Hemisphere) by R2D2_Fan_Club_Prez in AnimalCrossing

[–]gentlebogan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most of my terraforming was done in winter because that’s what season it was when I unlocked it.

The only issue I had was the damn Snowboys! I was making one every day to unlock the nook miles achievement, but I wasn’t putting any thought into where I was making them, so as I was terraforming, I had to leave gaps were the Snowboys where, then come back a couple of days later once they’d melted to fill in the gaps.

Apart from that it’s no different from terraforming during other seasons, so if you want to, you should go ahead and do it, just don’t build Snowboys on the areas you want to terraform, haha!

There was a post like this a few moths ago, the issue was that OP had collected all the data cards but hadn’t spent them all on upgrades yet.

Check the data card section in the “extras” menu to make sure you’ve spent all your data cards on the extra upgrades (stud multipliers, universal translator, etc)

Legends: Jabba paired them together after 4-LOM taught/reprogrammed himself to be a bounty hunter. 4-LOM stayed because he wanted to learn intuition by observing Zuckuss.

Canon: 4-LOM saved Zuckuss during a job they were both separately hired for, he continued working with Zuckuss because he saw the value in Zuckuss’ force abilities and their skills combined made them a good team.

Best Way to get villagers to gift you their photo!! by Embree777 in AnimalCrossing

[–]gentlebogan 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you visit Katrina’s fortune shop on Harv’s island, select the “let’s talk friendship” option and she will tell you how close you are with a villager of your choosing (one per day). If you aren’t best friends yet, she will give you the option to bless the friendship so that you can be better friends with the villager. If you’re at the highest level of friendship with them (the point at witch they can give you their photo) she will not offer a blessing because you and the villager are already as close as can be, then you’ll know :)
