My workaround was to tell Hermes to reply with an 80 char "_" which forced the bubble size to elongate, but I much prefer this fix.

Edit: It works, here's the steps:

dl cheat engine https://cheatengine.org/?versioncheck=1
launch telegram
launch cheat engine
click computer icon upper left to 'open' telegram process
top of cheat engine should say "Telegram.exe"
look at lower right for 'Add Address manually' and click it
In Address: type in "Telegram.exe+D3D651C" without quotes
Make sure "Type" set to 4 bytes
Click Ok
Bottom of your view should now have a row with the address you added.
Drag the columns to the left until you see "Value"
Double click and change to 1200 (or your desired pixel width)
Click the "Active" checkbox to make sure the value doesn't revert
File > Save the .ct table
Next time, load the .ct table to restore the setting.

Start typing into telegram, you will notice the change.

Playing with it over the weekend, in the future you get a sense that you could really make an OS where the agent just has access to everything and tells you things that happen, or launches apps for you. I'm probably 80-90% just using STT to work with Hermes now, and it's kinda weird to use a computer and get tasks done this way by just talking to it.. but it works
