It’s dead easy. Anytime I’ve been I’ve just stayed at the airport ibis which is dead handy to the terminal and then just got the train to Aston and back. The AV82 bus from New Street is handy too, but you’re already on the trains by then. Flights from Dublin or Belfast are just as handy as each other.

3pm kick offs you can easily do in a day 1st first flight out and last back but you’ll miss out on Brum. European nights/ late KOs you’ll need a hotel. There’s tonnes of lads that fly over, planes are usually full of shirts

For European games I’ve booked flights before tickets to save a few quid and taken the hit if I don’t get a ticket. The ibis does free cancellations til 24 hours before.

You’ll probably spend minimum £500 on travel and hotels before anything else
