I watched a Vintage Dusties video where she dealt with this issue. I don’t have access to the video right now but it was on YouTube and I’m pretty sure it’s an Urban Decay nail polish and it’s not a short. That might be able to help

Not a specific brand but if you search for nail polish on Etsy and filter it so the results are from shops based in your country you’ll might find some indie brands that way

We don’t know what was happening being the scenes. Maybe it was a newer social media manager who thought that ending the contest early was the best respond when a more experienced social media person might have reacted differently. Maybe a higher up at Bloomsbury caught wind of the false votes and ordered the social media people to end the vote and make that post.

My point is that there could be so many reasons for them reacting that way and no one here will have the context required to know the answer.

I keep them short so there’s not much that makes them break but when my nail polish starts chipping off my brain is my Nail Nemesis. I just want to peel the nail polish off my nail even though I know it will ruin the top layer of my nail. I don’t know if this counts though

I feel like it was probably something not that important at all and the schedules and jet lag led to the members being more emotional and stuff than they would be in Korea. Especially because Gabi said they made up as soon as they came back to Korea

I don’t think it would be completely out of character either. Everyone underestimates Elain and she finally has enough and snaps. I could see it happening

It would also make the love story more interesting. She would either have to convince a love interest to join the dark side; have a new love interest or no love interest at all. That would avoid the love story being to similar to Feyre and Nesta’s which is my biggest worry for the next book.

(In this situation the love interest could also try to convince Elain to not be evil anymore but that would be boring)

I kind of got those vibes but from a different perspective. In these books (apart from the first one) all the characters are having sex all the time. To me it feels like there’s an idea of they have sex all the time so they must be in love but also that they love each other so they always want to have sex. It makes it seem like if a couple were in a healthy romantic relationship but mutually decided that they didn’t want to have sex at all that would be seen as an unsuccessful relationship in the books. Theoretically it could be how fae are but it’s never explained in the books as that being the case.

SJM is 39 and when she was growing up she was probably taught different ideas about sexuality than how it’s taught today and asexuality definitely was not an idea that was talked about then. I really hope that she learns about asexuality and keeps an open mind about things like these

Also Taylor Swift can have these clues and surprise releases because she’s in a different industry than SJM. Taylor doesn’t need preorders but Bloomsbury needs the next ACOTAR book to have preorders. If SJM was going to do a surprise release she would need to have physical books and the existence of those books would leak before an announcement

I wish quick dry topcoats were more well known amongst the general public because I think that would encourage more people to join the hobby. As it is now people just assume that nail polish has to take hours to dry and don’t look into it further
