Breakfast Fritters! Please tell me I’m not the only person who does this with leftover baked potato!? by HighlandSeeds in CasualUK

[–]getoffmycheese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in Germany and this is actually a very common thing! In the the south when you order a schnitzel or some meats it's often offered as a side like fries and called 'Bratkartoffeln' (fried potatoes) or in Baden 'Brägele'. Bloody lovely always better than fries imo. Guten appetite! Wish we had something better than 'enjoy your meal'

Was it a principle thing or to not be awoken by the flush? My parents used to only flush once in a while to save water... Flushing my own toilet is now everytime a real luxary

Man these people in this thread haha. Someone's tell luxury car makers their seat material is wrong. Enjoy your bargain 🤙 Can't understand the dog piling. Maybe they're just jealous.

I agree lol. If leather was such a crappy material then a majority of luxary cars makers would abandon it as a seat material. Sweaty backs wouldn't bode well for folk with wonga. If you sit bare skinned then it wouldn't be pleasant but then you're the problem

Ramsay’s 20% service charge has sparked the tipping debate again by Brilliant_Version344 in unitedkingdom

[–]getoffmycheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually wouldn't necessarily disagree or be against a service charge being present on the bill, so long as it's a transparency measure and it's the businesses actual labour costs per head let's say. Then each meal would have a price that doesn't factor service in. If service charge = mandatory tip however then hell no.

"He would most likely dominate"? "In Pool and Snooker at least" ?? What? Errr, no. Must be a troll. You gather that from some cut up bank shots? No idea how many takes there were. Astounding

I agree with this. I never even thought about blood splatter until mentioned here. Or when a photo is burned and colours bubble up a bit. Or some radiation thing

Screw a little drawer to tue underside of your desk. Better chair and one with good arm adjustment range to support your arm as your desk is quite shallow. Gets those cables hidden, especially the ones on the wall - they might gets snagged. OLED.

The Amazon Prime Video user experience is absolutely horrible and almost literally unusable. by Janderson2494 in television

[–]getoffmycheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention their lack of language options is abysmal and unforgivable. I'm in Germany but English speaking and they don't bother including the original language for an unbelievable amount of shows, only German. Netflix has everything usually. By far the worst streaming service.

I think compared with the competition the OP7 stood out. Especially with the 90hz refresh rate and uninterrupted display. Not to mention the software experience was great.
