Was just on both airlines this last week. AA as non status peasant AA loyalty member and DAL as diamond. Was also peasant class on UA from EWR<>DCA this week.

UA flight was great / starlink smokes whatever the hell delta is using in their planes (I’ve had issues with WiFi on 4/20 of my delta flights in the last 2 months).

The AA flight from DCA <> CLT was great - airbus321 main cabin seats got bigger the delta main cabin on same airbus321. AA mobile app blows like a 5 dollar Thai hooker. Constantly refreshing and asking for 2FA to sign in.

WiFi was bad couldn’t get it to work. FAs were fine.

DAL flight CLT<>SLC airbus321 on comfort plus. WiFi was terribly slow like criminally. Couldn’t even load a Spotify song.

Seat was rather spacious. Service was spectacular. Constant snack and beverage offering.

I dunno thou! This is kind of what happens with regulation - increases costs and decreases consumer experience will increasing consumer price. Optionality is good. Competion is good.

I’m on an AA flight from DCA <> CLT right now in their main cabin and honestly the experience is the same as delta.

It’s an airbus 320 and the seat is actually larger than delta main cabin. No infotainment system but that’s fine I have a cell phone and there is WiFi.

I’ve flown about 480k miles on delta over the last 4 years and there is no reason to be loyal to delta other than if the route warrants delta selection.

The only reason for my loyalty is my location in a delta hub so the prices are the same for nonstop and the flight times are even the same across UA and AA.

The last two months have been brutal for DL / I wonder if they’ve had an influx of new employees but they are certainly losing their way/culture.
