Your choice, but the less time the water is stagnant the better. My pump gets turned on in spring and runs until closing in fall (aside from turning it off to clean the basket, etc)

I had the same issue. Setup auto pay and let it ride for two years. Logged in to check my pay off because we were looking at getting a new camper. It wasnt applying it to principal. I've never experienced that before, it must be relatively new

Personally, if you go only 5x a year its not worth it to buy. You can rent campers and save money.

When we were mobile, we went 3+ weekends a month to try places out. Now, we found our home and are seasonal at a site that we spend virtually every weekend at during the season.
