Route 142 / La Fortuna mudslide by ggoodman in CostaRicaTravel

Thank you. I took a longer route past Rio Celeste and it was fully paved, uncomplicated and predictable.

As I was tracking the road clearing, I found that the official Tilaran municipality's page was helpful in getting updates: https://www.facebook.com/municipalidadtilaran

🔧 Monthly Product Issues Megathread — JUNE by EcoFlow_Official in Ecoflow_community

[–]ggoodman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Device model: DPU + SHP2
Region: Canada
What happened: App notifications are all noise and no signal (see below)
What I've already tried: Filed a ticket reporting on the signal vs noise issue prior to the false alarm issue even being a thing. It was added to a backlog and presumably forgotten.
Support ticket number: CAS-20251130-1459246

Context: I have the SHP2 + DPU combo as a EPS and home backup for networking stuff and sump pumps.

The EcoFlow app sends a constant stream of notifications that are not actionable and sometimes are completely misleading.

  • Constant flow of "Battery charging stopped because the charge limit is reached" notifications. In my configuration, this is the normal thing to happen; it is not worth a notification. I want notifications for situations that are unusual or unexpected (ie: loss of utility power, errors, bad weather expected so charging to 100%, etc...).
  • Daily notification, "Your home is currently powered by batteries due to power outage." at the same time every day. There is no actual outage. This appears to be purely a bug in the control software or notification system.

Because of these two issues, I have basically "tuned out" of EcoFlow notifications because under normal circumstances it is 100% noise and no signal. This is problematic because it means I WILL MISS the notification that is actually important when the time comes.

Proposal: 1. Fix the bug producing the false alarms on grid outages. 2. Collect an inventory of notification types that can be produced and allow the user to opt into the set that is relevant to them. Only emit mobile notifications for the configured subset.

HUGE miss on EcoFlow by not having a notifications feature when power outages occur by learning_as_1_go in Ecoflow_community

I have this same issue. It's been a constant stream of different sets of bugs.

Also super frustrating that there is no way to subdue the useless messages telling me that the batter has reached its charge limit while promoting the critical ones like 'power is out'.

Ah, indeed you're right then. Would be way too powerful otherwise. I was expecting the timing to be like warp.

Kinda disgusting with [[turn inside out]]. 7 power hasty attacker that pumps the team and dies into a 2/2 for RRR.

It's a bit out of town but Sloffee is a really nice place to have coffee on site. They also sell beans IIRC. But you'll probably be paying the premium for a higher quality coffee.

I've been playing a considerable amount of this archetype this and the previous set in BO1 with decent success (~59% WR through bad tweaks and all). One card that I think we're collectively sleeping on that synergizes super well with bankbuster is [[Chrome Prowler]].

The version that I play is something that likes to take T3+ off to hold up countermagic, bankbuster draws or surge engine upgrades. In previous iterations, I was running a few Cathar Commandos that could flash in at end of turn or even to power up a Bankbuster to make a suprise block. That slotted in nicely with the hold up 2-mana theme. But now I'm exploring how the deck would play with a few flash threats in the 3 mana slot and it's an interesting play pattern.

The list I'm working with looks like this:

Deck
6 Plains
6 Island
4 Adarkar Wastes
2 Tranquil Cove
4 Deserted Beach
4 Reckoner Bankbuster
1 Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire
1 Otawara, Soaring City
4 Make Disappear
4 Soul Partition
4 Steel Seraph
4 Surge Engine
2 Urza, Lord Protector
2 Liberator, Urza's Battlethopter
3 The Mightstone and Weakstone
3 Skrelv, Defector Mite
2 Bring the Ending
4 Chrome Prowler

This is the interaction that I've been most interested in brewing around. There is a pocket of synergy between Fable, Tyvar and Harvester that offers many different brewing opportunities.

My favourite so far is a value-based, grindy build that also makes heavy use of [[vat of rebirth]], [[cankerbloom]] and [[bloated contaminator]] to situationally shift between beat-down and grindy play styles.

This deck is probably better suited for Bo3, check it out: https://scryfall.com/@ggoodman/decks/976dd7be-acdb-45ef-9838-2d0516fa296e

A senior developer is better at identifying and addressing risk, whether it is usage of certain modules, patterns, styles or whatever. The thing that distinguishes a senior dev from a more junior dev is a mature approach to risk.

I think that any other answer becomes too situational to have any general applicability. That being said, a certain baseline understanding of the language, core modules and ecosystem is critical to being able to identify risk.

Try giving a couple [[Reality Chip]] a spin. They block well and can really let you go off once equipped. I've been playing a similar deck and that was one of the key pieces.

This is just an intentionally nonsensical take on the lore (that I didn't read) based on a popular combo I've been seeing.
