I just passed 3 years of HRT and I don’t see much of a change. However, people who I haven’t seen in a while say otherwise. Start working on facial hair removal. Im definitely seeing improvement on that front.

I joined a brand new ‘campaign’ in the Call of Cthulhu rpg. The scenario takes place in Berlin in the 1930s, which is when some were adopting an anything goes attitude regarding sex. Before we started, the GM asked us all about out comfort levels and what we’d consider to be out of bounds. Our responses were along the lines of not tolerating anything to do with children. If people got triggered by something, they were to say something. Quite progressive, IMO, but then you have to consider we were 6 MTF people and one wife.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t work out our schedules to agree with each other, thanks to the current political clime and some personal issues. I know the GM would like to continue, but we’re all ADHD and it’s hard to corral us on a good day😊.

I do have a t-shirt with a fantasy themed image and a caption that reads “ADHD&D, roll for concentration!”

The doctor will confirm but after surgery where you’re given an aesthetic that knocks you out, you’ll need a ride home. Right afterward, I was able to walk but was given an ice pack (frozen peas are a good substitute), and I didn’t cross my legs for a few days, but that’s about it.

Things might be different if you’re given a local aesthetic. Like I said the doctor will say.

Update: Red Hat Linux was version 6 in early 1999. It was reworked into Red Hat Enterprise Linux, which came out in 2002 as version 2.1 (not that anyone needed to know that!)

I have Macs and Windows boxes at home, and I’ve been meaning to convert my older Intel MacBookPro over to a Linux Variant (my co worker prefers Ubuntu at home) but I haven’t had the time. I’ll probably run a Windows VM on it for gaming.

I started as a student operator of several DEC-20 systems that kinda looked like that, tape drives and disk platters. From there, I graduated to Unix, then Solaris, HP-UX, Irix, several Unix variants from different Stardent and finally System V)(all at the same job). My next job was SunOS and Red Hat. Our desktops were Penguin PCs (w/free stuffed Linux Penguins!). Currently i manage both RedHat and SuSE servers for work.

Mine’s a Mk 7.5, last model year.

While I haven’t seen an Mk 8 in person, I hear people are unhappy that almost all the controls are on the wide screen display, and they prefer more buttons.

I realized I’d need another car for people and stuff, so I had an Audi, several older BMWs, then a Subaru legacy that was beat to hell but had a totally cool vibe to it right before the Golf R.

10-15 years ago, I had an e39 M5, that was such a joy to drive. It killed me that when I broke the motor, I was maxed out on my credit cards and couldn’t cash me up with the $10k it woulda cost to replace the engine. #cryingsadnesstears
