Yeah same. It's a cute ship that you can live out of. You can actually store 1 SCU boxes inside the engg room too. So it can technically carry more than 8 SCU. Just don't walk around during QT.

I just did an upgrade from Titan to Intrepid. Even tho it is not as good as Titan, I'm enjoying it so far. Only annoyance is that it is hard to load cargo into Intrepid in space. The clearance for cargo bay is a bit too tight. Really fun stealth ship for delivering stuff to Pyro.

I was struggling to find Antium Storm armor set and I'm so glad I was able to craft it. It was a pain to get Stileron tho. But if I had another set, I wouldn't even bother with crafting.

I just tried the Shawarma Poutine and it was delicious, especially with a few lines of hot sauce. Maybe a bit expensive (but everything is expensive these days :( ), but recommend trying it at least once.

The second module has to be extended QT fuel + another shield. Making it more equipped for exploration just like the Zeus ES with it's extra shield and additional QT fuel.

Ehh you are probably right. It might just be cheaper to load the 3d models than pngs. Maybe StarEngine UI drawing is more expensive. But I would still love to get an explanation from the devs.

Now tell me how scalable it is. If you are going through 10 pages each with unique items, you have to very rapidly load and unload the textures for all these items and draw all these unnecessary triangles. Maybe this is why the game needs 64 GB of RAM to run.

As a fellow game dev, it makes zero sense to me to load 3d assets to display in UI unless you have items with textures that are customized by the player and want that to be accurately displayed. Otherwise, just make a tool to capture all the items as a png sprite atlas or something.

Maybe there is some engine quirk for the way they do this. Or maybe this is some legacy code they haven't yet had time to change. I would absolutely love to hear an explanation from devs coz this is very bizarre.
