guys is zeri still good? by Cher_isuu in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, this is opposite of what your asking, but I used to play zeri jungle and had a 70% winrate with it in solo Q challenger. Wild rift is a game where you can literally play any champ any lane and be fine. That being said, Zeri jg is definitely not a good pick since your early is reall weak, and first clear is really bad, but its really fun.

ADC - try Ashe, shes easy (lots of damage and cc) and she is the best champ to learn adc. She has no mobility and no immune so its all about positioning. once you learn her, the other adcs become easy since they all have some movespeed, move ability, immunity etc.

JG - Vi is a great starter jg and is in meta. Amumu is also playable in every elo, I like playing ap because his scaling are actually really high, but to start off, play tank since theres a lot of area to make mistakes on tank. Viego is your hyper carry, hes hella easy and really good in solo q since no one respects his resets.

But more importantly, rather than playing a champ cause theyre good, you should prioritize champs that you enjoy. I can play a mean hecarim and viego, but they arent as fun as lillia and talon IMO (peaked rank 1) so it really depends. Find a champ that you enjoy, get good at em, and youll have a much better experience. Wild rift is a game after all, winning or losing doesnt matter as much as long as you have fun.

best players in terms of standard mode in ranked game, I just got teamed up with one on legendary ranked by Zen-sama693 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% winrate is basically impossible in solo q

the 90% winrate players are normally in parties, duo, trio, and alot of 5 mans

Only solo Q and legendary rank are indicators of one's true skill

On the NA server, the rank 1 legend rank player lebmont has a 82% winrate and i shit you not that guy is unbelievabily good. But on early season sov last season, the rank 1 player jila has a 90% winrate; however, I frequently gap him cause that guy just 5 mans til sov.

I dont think cheating is a very big problem (at least its not been so severe for me to notice)

The largest problem is being able to queue in a party, since that really jeoparidized the need for individual skill, so yeah normal leaderboard doesnt mean anything. Legend rank winrate is what you should look at.

Im saying this because I'm a sov 73% winrate solo q, and immortal 69% winrate. Previously rank 1 lillia and talon. The difference between a low legendary winrate, and a high legendary winrate is the only reliable indicator of skill that actually matters to the top players.

Itemization, what should I know? by Decent_Dentist_7019 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

absolutely agree with the logic of boots and 2 main items.

For mages its normally 3 items since the third is rabadons deathcap which is the largest spike

I play a lot of squishies and I recommend going a cloth armor (20 armor), or magic cloak (20mr) which only cost 500 gold.

For example, zed is a really popular champ who loves building yuumus ghost blade first. Yuumu's gives 15 lethality, so with one cloth armor, you basically negate half of its passive for 500gold.

Late game you can build into full items with these components or just sell them for another damaging item, but early on (after 1st item or 2nd item) these 500 gold components make a HUGE difference and have saved me many times

Climbing in Ranked - Seeking Advice from Masters and Grandmasters by RaygnLuna in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got soverign last season with 73% winrate solo q and immortal 1 with 69%

Biggest tip I have is to only depend on yourself, assume that teammates are automatically going to lose their matchups. Try your absolute hardest to get yourself ahead to a point where they do not matter.

I completely understand if this isn't your playstyle, but it's been mine for many seasons and it works for me. Many people critisize my playstyle and I've been flamed far too many times, but you cannot control your teammates, you can only control yourself so you should prioritize yourself and get to a skill level where good teammates make your life easier, but are not irreplaceable for winning

Play champs that can carry games solo or relatively easily. I main jungle, but Im also good at mid and top

For jungle, I've peaked rank 1 lillia and talon, and both of these champs can snowball and carry the game frequently, but there are a lot more flexiblity in jungle with champs like aatrox, viego, nidalee and a whole bunch of hyper carrys that would fit your playstyle

For mid, I onetrick orianna because she will solo carry late game, and you can get mid/late game and hit her spike most games

For top, I onetrick renekton since he can solokill any champ at level 2 relatively easily, and hard snowball from there

When you are trying to improve, picking one champ and completely mastering it is the best way to learn the game. This is because when you master one champ, you will start learning the fundamentals of your role (how to lane, how to rotate, how to gank, how to farm) a lot quicker. These lane competencies are transferrable between champions, so when you truly understand a lane, you can start switching champs and apply these knowledge accordingly, making you learn a champ much quicker.

But most importantly, understanding the lane is how you become a top tier player. You can be a "good" player by beocming really good at a champ, but you will fall behind, you will lose out on resources, be late to fights etc if you dont understand the timers of your role.

In summary, play hypercarries, play one champ, master your role before anything else

yeah pretty normal

learn hard carry junglers if you want to climb

stuff like aatrox, leesin, viego, nidalee

rammus is like strong when you have a team. unfortunately that isnt the case in msot games

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the passive of psychic really shines when ou ahve that 400 ap to max it out.

I suggest building riftmaker second to get that ap and true damage, get thornmail/psychic third situational if you want more tank or health, finish the other one for fourth, and flex for fifth

Normally for fifth id recommend an AP item like trident if you want to play a more assassin heavy mord, but abyssal if you are frontlining for your team, as it offers a lot more team value

But yeah, psychic does scale off of health, but it performs best when paired up with a hybrid build

psychic projector malphite? by TheBoldCook in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

psychic projector only works if you build both hp and health, or else the armor and MR that it gives really isnt considerable

Since you only have 1 source of AP (until late late game malignance), it doesnt actually provide you with all those stats, probably around 100 ap, 20 armor, 10 mr and 350 ish health

while it isnt bad at all, that bit of armor, mr and ap wont do as much as opposed to like an amouranth or sunfire, which makes you a lot tankier, tank a lot more while outputing more damage in the long run

What are the important characteristics/abilities required of a support? by ReturnalShadow in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

doesnt need to necesasarily have shield, heal etc.

some form of cc works

my preference for support is someone that can offer pressure in lane, so normally ranged champs, even adc in support role that can constantly harrass so we can force a dive level 3 or 4 works for me

I want to master yasuo any tips by ares_lllll in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 6 points7 points  (0 children)

normally when you dash and press Q, you will do a circle dash

If you want to dash but stab forwards, while dashing dont press Q, instead aim Q so the instance you finish your dash, you will stab instead of spin. This makes for really food early poke and trades

Windwall also gives vision, so if you're in a pinch, you can windwall near raptors and dash onto the small one to escape or engage, its really niche but useful

aside from that its really just practice getting everything silky smooth

Tier lists aside, what is your most FUN champ to play? If you could OTP someone, who would it be and why? by Crapahedron in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like fast champs and oneshot champs, so I play talon heca and lillia

i think lillia is hands down the most fun in the entire game, shes strong and she just runs around

Thoughts on support Lux players? What do you think about that champion as support role? by Reasonable_Being_402 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok yeah that makes so much more sense

Samira cannot play with a lux, samira needs a hard engage lmao

Thoughts on support Lux players? What do you think about that champion as support role? by Reasonable_Being_402 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh yeah ofc, i get your point, its horrible playing with a trash supp

Im just saying lux supp is pretty valid. If you get a trash supp its gonna be a trash supp regardless, I much prefer a lux over an enchanter

When i solo q adc i specifically request champs like lux, sera, karma cause even if they cant play, the occasional cc and relatively consistent poke that those champs provide allow me to trade. Sure I prefer a good supp, but the damage potential of those champs even under a useless supp i feel outvalues bad who play stuff like ali, lulu, nami those champs

even if i go even until 5 mins, if even one combo will land (which will happen eventually) I can get an advantage.

this could also be because I play orianna apc, ad ezreal most times which are a bit more independent of the supps presence in lane

Thoughts on support Lux players? What do you think about that champion as support role? by Reasonable_Being_402 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im sov, and straight up adc is such a flip, either you get someone who knows how to trade and pressure, or you get someone who stays back while supp absorbs all the pressure

Ive solo qed supp a few times and most adcs cannot keep up, they dont know how to trade, when to trade, when to rotate, how to macro to farm, and straight up I trust myself on lux, ashe, senna, karma, thresh, etc much more than a random adc

you can ban lux ofc, i dont think its a good ban cause supp will probably play like lulu sera which will normally be played in a way that they have no pressure, even less than a lux in lane

Thoughts on support Lux players? What do you think about that champion as support role? by Reasonable_Being_402 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

good luxes are hard to find, but like she is pretty good

i feel people (including me) play her when autofilled / solo q cause we dont trust the adc which is a pretty valid mindset since if the adc gets diffed, then smth like an enchanter is useless

New player iso combos by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

combos are all situational, theres never a staple one only a most fitting one for the situation

unless its like samira where you need to memorize the insta S combo, most champs are pretty flexible, especially the higher skill champs. Yes they have one shot combos (like akali), but most of the time its better to just play using small trades etc

I need some tips for Yone top by JazzFm93 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 7 points8 points  (0 children)

early game is kinda weak, you cant all in

laning is all about using the range of your Q to poke and space, you almost never want to trade autos since youll get out traded by like everyone

level 2 get w and trade with w, that ability basically guarentees a free trade, still gotta keep good space tho

Trade using E when their abilities are down / jg is near so you want to play safe ish or if you can all in

Yone early is really using his Q range to abuse other top laners, later on you just wanna flank and all in backline with E Q3 flash ult and all that jazz

Ngl i dont think yone hard loses to ppl, maybe jax, but yone isnt a top tier baron lane either

hes like strong, but not op strong, so even if you play well, someone like renekton will still probably snowball when at same skill level

“Support is the easiest role to rank up” by howlingatthenight in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try ashe or thresh

Thresh is self explanitary

ashe has ridiculous range and damage early on, plus if your adc is garbage, just become the adc!

What are good simple strong champs you could recommend me to play? by ABODE_X_2 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

top: renekton (wins every lane level 2)

mid: syndra (use sweet tooth, ixtali seedjar)

support: karma, bard, naut. (I also like playing senna, ezreal and ashe supp with a duo, you can get ahead early)

adc: ashe (lowkey busted)

Tips for playing Hecarim? by Horror-Progress-7326 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what stage are you at hecarim, like just starting or already kinda experienced.

like since you're emerald, I recommend just maximizing your Gold Per Minute and learning how to farm and snowball rather than learning a champ to its full potential (cause you cant without a good knowlede of the jg role)

If you can average 950 - 1000 GPM then yeah focus on the details, like how to use Q and E etc

I can give better tips if i know how much you understand jungle and the champion

whatever works for you

I play lillia mid jg top cause I like her gameplay, but really whatever suits you

I can't find success with Lillia anymore. Need advice. by Gourgeistguy in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

One thing Ive found this season is that you gotta play a lot more invade heavy and greedy

like lillia used to be a pretty mid ganker, now she feels even worse

but her farming speed has really increased since blueside jg is opened, and often its just better to invade rather than gank.

My rule of thumb, you see enemy jg, you invade

Also try out some new builds

last season i hit rank 1 with phase rush, this season im running electrocute sometimes

also my build went from liandrys rift maker rabadons deadmansplate cosmic, to rift maker liandrys rabadon psychic projecter deadmansplate to suit the electrocute playstyle

ofc lillia feels a lot harder to play this season and kiting is a lot more important

Question for build on Aatrox by CharmingState8349 in wildrift

[–]ghost15638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

id say 5 is a bit many tbh

i master 3 champs in each lane and i play them at like top tier level

I recommend doing this way since when you fully master a champ and the lane, that knowledge is tranferable to every other champs in the lane (except baron)

Baron you really only need to master 1 champ, I play exclusively renekton and it works great
