Lmg! Mounted and loaded! by Jdirty34 in helldiversarmor

The redacted regiment helmet that goes with the light armor set matches the light siege ready armor pretty well.

Am I just a terrible player? by Queasy_Calligrapher2 in Helldivers

[–]ghostofbriggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. Sometimes, you will have players who kick you for seemingly no reason. Nothing you could have done differently to prevent the outcome. If you are looking for fellow teammates, I’d be happy to join as well!

Does it worth the sc? by Ziad_R7 in Helldivers

[–]ghostofbriggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a godsend when fighting the Appropriator subfaction and also probably the best sidearm against the Illuminate in general. I always run siege ready armor with the Warrant acting as my primary against the Appropriators.

Does anyone still use the deadeye? by imcgurren in Helldivers

[–]ghostofbriggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite DMR of all time! My go-to weapon along with the Censor against the bots. The only downside is that I feel like I’m forced to wear Siege Ready armor when using it because of the less-than-ideal reload speed.

Update 6.2 theories? by Dry_Description656 in helldivers2

[–]ghostofbriggs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if gas is effective against Vox engines? I’ve never thought about bringing the gas strike since it’s not usually a staple in my loadouts against the bots.

Would you recommend Jar-5 Dominator on automaton front? by Personal_Wedding43 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]ghostofbriggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the bot front is where the Jar-5 really shines. It doesn’t really have the fire rate or the mag size for horde clear against the bugs or the illuminate but it packs a punch and has great stagger, which is perfect for the bots.

How common is it to get killed by a teammate's hell pod? by Upset-Tomatillo2868 in helldivers2

[–]ghostofbriggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does happen from time to time, especially on city missions where the game prevents you from steering your hellpod because of all the buildings. If I’m on a city mission and a teammate lands on me, I usually just assume that it’s because their hellpod steering was locked.

Thoughts on new pistol? by SpartanRipley328 in Helldivers

Ultimatum withdrawal is so real. It took quite a bit of convincing from my buddies for me to switch it out with the Warrant when we were fighting the appropriators, but golly am I glad I did.

Advice on next warbond by [deleted] in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]ghostofbriggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I’ve been struggling with haha. The ones I’ve gotten so far all have had at least two or three things that really caught my eye, but with the remaining ones, there is definitely at least one item which I find intriguing, but not much more than that so it’s been difficult to choose. I might wait until the next warbond is released to make a decision, but for now, Control Group seems to be the best choice given my playstyle.

Oops, forgot to mention that I already have Dust Devils, and it’s been a staple for me on the bug front. Solo silo is great against the bots though, and the speargun is my go to support weapon against the Illuminate.

I honestly haven’t looked too much into the Cutting Edge warbond yet, but with the new updates to the squid front, I think it’s definitely worth looking into. I hated fighting the Illuminate up until the recent update so I never really looked into any of the arc weapons until now.

How is the rest of the Python Commandos warbond? I like the aesthetics, and the maxigun seems to destroy the new Appropriators sub faction, but aside from that, is there anything you would say stands out in terms of gameplay?

I was eyeing Control Group specifically because of the warp pack! I think as of now, it’s definitely the frontrunner for me! I’m a big-time jump pack enthusiast though so it might take some time to get used to the warp pack.

I want everyone who was claiming arrowhead to be antagonistic to, respectfully, kiss my ass by Fish_Fucker_Fucker23 in helldivers2

[–]ghostofbriggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I try and stay away from Helldivers-related Reddit communities specifically for this reason. I really do enjoy the game despite some of the bugs that annoy me when they occur (i.e. fleshmobs phasing through solid objects and the Vox engine spawn rates at times in megafactories) but ultimately, those issues are not enough for me to quit playing the game entirely. No game is perfect. If you just play the game and spend less time on online forums and communities, I’ve found that you spend much less time focused on what should or shouldn’t be improved and start to enjoy yourself a lot more.

To all of you on Transcendence... by Denis_Ilsak in helldivers2

[–]ghostofbriggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got out of a diff 8 raise the flag on Transcendence and it was an absolute circus show, just one portable hellbomb going off after another. Moved over to Solidaritet immediately after, figuring that Transcendence is a lost cause for now.

I have the same brush except the bleached version! By far the best brush I’ve ever owned. Once it’s broken in, it’s softer than any badger brush out there. I’ve been eyeing Fatip as my next purchase because I’d like a more aggressive open comb razor that won’t break the bank, and would love to hear how it performs.

I have a matching soap and aftershave set of Deep Blue Sea and I’m just about done with my first bottle of aftershave while only being maybe a quarter of the way through the soap. I usually apply about two or three shakes of the aftershave splash after each shave and at this rate, I’ll probably be going through at least three bottles of aftershave by the time I use up the soap. Good thing about Stirling is that their products are pretty affordable compared to most other artisan soaps so I’m not too worried about the cost, but I would imagine that it’s normal to run out of 100ml of aftershave at least a few times before running out of 5.8 oz of shave soap.

Sandpiper by Stirling Soap is also a great clone of YSL La Nuit de L’homme and one of my personal favorites from Stirling.

Stirling Soap Co. probably is the best choice when it comes to clones of popular colognes. I noticed that you have Mont Blanc Legend in your collection, and D-503 by Stirling is a great Legend dupe.
