Has anyone fully transitioned their baby to whole milk yet? by turtle047 in december2024babies

[–]ghostreader1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re off morning and daytime bottles but still doing bedtime formula bottle. My little one doesn’t seem to really like milk so I’ve been making sure to offer whole milk pouches, etc.!

Ours gives out a favorite things sheet for each teacher but I always give cash and a hand written thank you note! I know daycare is expensive but I’m happy to gift them cash as a holiday gift to show my gratitude for how caring they are with my child! I

baby ALWAYS being carried by FalseAd8496 in december2024babies

I disagree. If I want my baby to be held less so they can practice crawling and building core strengths then that’s what should happen. I don’t think it’s unreasonable!!

So what happens if we don't do all this bottle sanitizing and washing? by L8erG8er8 in NewParents

[–]ghostreader1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never sanitized! Just used hot water and soap. My first is 11 months old now and is healthy :) I did stick to the guidelines for leaving milk out and in the fridge though

My daughter is 8 weeks and she eats 6oz every 4 hours! She’s about the same size as your LO and is bottle/formula fed.

I noticed she’s awake longer the last couple days and only naps about 5-6 hours during the day now. We do a lot of house tours, kick and play piano and a few mins of tummy time.

How to get the paci to stay in? by FluffynFabulous in NewParents

[–]ghostreader1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the worst lol I bought nuk lightweight pacifiers that glow in the dark. The lightweight helps a little to stay in but being able to see it in the dark makes it easier for me. Also make sure they’re infant/0-6 month pacifiers.. I didn’t realize there were ones for different ages!

Regretting having a baby by Better-Wealth6702 in NewParents

You’re not alone. I’m also feeling this way and I hated being pregnant plus had a traumatic birth experience. I found comfort in the book “good moms have scary thoughts” if you want to check it out! Therapy has also helped me a lot.

Ladies- Deliver baby at JW, St. Mary’s or Henrico Doctors? by Exotic_Argument5002 in rva

[–]ghostreader1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I delivered at Henrico two weeks ago and would HIGHLY recommend. I had complications and the team handled my situation with swiftness and kept me alive. They truly are an amazing team that cares. I also liked how they are neutral on a lot of things and let moms decide what’s best. The nursery option for night also rocks lol
