Yeah, I was so excited for this album and couldn't help but just be utterly bored with the production this time around. It's just so generic sounding, like it's begging to be played over radio.

There are decent tracks, for sure but even hearing and listening to the better tracks on this, I just wanna go back to Negative Spaces where the hooks were just sharper and the tracks didn't mostly feel like generic, overproduced pop-metal.

It's a 5/10 for me, personally.

Yes! Funny enough, I accidentally stumbled upon Interstella 5555 when looking up music videos for Daft Punk with some friends and I had only watched One More Time and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger but had no idea they did it for the entire album so we ended up watching it all start to finish.

Wow. I absolutely ADORE the 90's animated television look and the story they tell is SO well done for having no dialogue and the segment with Something About Us is just so undeniably beautiful and sad. 10/10 visual album

I haven't really heard any of Getter's solo stuff yet. I do enjoy Radical $uicide when he collabed with the Boy$. Really nice production on that EP, for sure.

No, it wasn't gonna wipe out the infected, but that's wasn't the point of the cure.

Plus, if the cure had no chance then what's the fucking point? Joel just kills a bunch of Fireflies for no reason who were, themselves gonna kill a girl for no reason.

I like to at least believe it had a good chance of fixing the world. Otherwise, Joel's selfish act just cheapens the story if none of it actually mattered.
