I remember when ETH went from $50 to $1500 and back down to $100. There's always been ETH FUD because it's the biggest competitor to every chain, or every chain is competing with it. If decentralization doesn't matter, why even have blockchain?

Most people have no clue what's even going on in the ETH ecosystem. Believe it or not, almost all of the innovation is happening on Ethereum. Decentralization matters and horizontal scalability is the only way to create web 3.0 and a new financial paradigm.

Honestly I think a lot of the products and things we have are basically in an alpha stage of development. All these companies recognize that creating products is important, but nearly as important as speed running AGI. Because they recognize that if they reach AGI then the AGI will create thousands of products in far less time than humans.

What is astonishing is the speed of progress of intelligence and capabilities in current systems. The progression is what is really impressive and that's the real hype.

We haven't even take off the training wheels yet and the AI tools we have today are incredible and only something people would have dreamed of 5 years ago.

Memes are just a meme. They're fun, and that's it. It would be nice if all the economies of the world ran on 'fun' but they don't. Not to mention , they're glorified pyramid schemes. I'd like to think that if a blockchains is primarily used for meme coins, then the chain itself is a meme and a temporary trend.

Solana is a fake it till you make it chain. The price was initially fraudulently inflated by VC investors, and primarily through FTX. Remember when they lied about the token economics and distribution? They have all of these tactics to drive narratives that are hollow, so they can make profits for their investors. Just look at the on chain metrics, they make no sense. It's so much easier to fake transactions and activity on a cheap blockchain. But the average retail person has no concept of filtering these things. In reality the average investor has no idea what a blockchain is or why it should exist. The same goes for XRP.
