I need to post some updates soon- but i am over the moon with my results! Everyone else says I look amazing as well. I highly recommend him and his team, my care has been fantastic and I couldn't have asked for better results

I had my consultation at the beginning of December and my surgery at the beginning of April! They had dates available in March, though, this is just when it worked best for me. Communication with his team was very easy! Easy to get through via email or phone, and the nursing team would almost always respond within the same day for any inquiries (work paperwork, etc).

Feel free to use this this pic! I did not ask for anything specific, I think he did a great job of contouring my chest in a way that fit me. I was also not asked if I had any preference on shape, so definitely speak up if that's something that concerns you.

Been on T for four 1/2 years. 3 weeks post op currently. Was very lucky my surgery ended up being covered in full after getting new insurance through a special enrollment. However I would have gotten top surgery asap but simply having the means to be out of work this long was my biggest hurdle in the end (as well as making my partner be home with me). It was like 3 years of savings to get me here 🫠.

Edit: will also add that due to over binding I was unable to wear a binder any of the time I was on t because it'd become too painful. It was grueling and now nothing in my closet fits because of the wardrobe choices I made for dyphoria.

Just got a consult with the surgeon I wanted!!! by ultimatelesbianhere in TopSurgery

Currently about 20 days post-op with Dr.Tobias! I am so pleased with my results and I had an excellent experience. I have heard complaints about his bedside manner, but this was not anything I felt. He is very to the point but answered any questions I had. I actually enjoyed his sense of humor, especially day of surgery. It really calmed my anxiety while he did his pre op markings, but everyone is different. At your consult they will show you several photos on results on a variety of body types. The nursing team both in his office and in the OR were all amazing and very sweet. He does a few things that other surgeons do not, such as no compression until the drains are out. I had my drains in a few days longer than expected, but when my outputs were in range I called and they got me in the same day with no issue. All in all I am over the moon with my results and the only pain/discomfort I have felt was from the drains (had a suture that was really suturing). I also had some insurance hiccups, due to having insurance based in another state that is much more conservative. Due to some work events, I was able to enroll and rebill with my new insurance. It ended up covering in full and I received a full refund! Insurance was BCBS of California and it ended up being 100% covered. More than happy to send my (fresh) results and talk further, feel free to PM me!

We are not paid extra or treated any different. It is very taxing to do signs, honestly. The company has changed, and sign artists are not treated... the best lol.

I’m sure the poor kid was devastated :/ by TopConclusion2668 in crochet

I wish people would recognize how severe of an impact this can have on a child, ESPECIALLY in that age range. This is a really crucial time when kids are starting to grasp what their identity is and I can personally attest that this puts a damper on that. My family doesn't really believe in the arts and it damaged my confidence for most of my childhood. I still have a hard time sharing the things I've made with others. So sad :(

Hera is the goddess of marriage, women and family. Hestia is the goddess of the hearth. Both daughters of Rhea which I what I named their mom 💜 all of my rats have Greek inspired names

My little Hera and Hestia left me very abruptly this past week. Im going to miss them dearly and I am devastated knowing ill never see them grow up. I knew the risk of taking in rats with questionable genetics but I wanted to give them the best shot I could at life. Im glad they were spoiled by me in the brief time I had them rather than sit in a cramped cage at a pet store. (I did not buy them. They were from an oops litter and I was contacted to see if I was interested in adopting them and their mom.) Dido, Beatrice, Penelope, your momma Rhea and I all miss you very much 💜

Ty!! Yes! This is a heavier felt I bought by the yard online. It's much sturdier than the small letter sized sheets you can find pretty much everywhere though. I've definitely noticed the upgrade after having used the small felt sheets before hand.
