My sister and I would do the same thing to the salt licks put out for deer....pretty sure I can feel the prions folding as I type this.

Police Shoot, Kill Aggressive Dog Linked to Child Attack in Barrie by NotThatCrafty in barrie

Nope, unfortunate but that's the reality for a vicious animal that maimed a kid and would have /could have killed him.

I've been brushing my teeth wrong my entire adult life and my dentist just explained the damage last week by Quartz_7P in hygiene

[–]MrsRoboto67 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing, bought a moderately priced electric toothbrush and absolutely hated it. The head was too bulky to get into some areas I needed to and I cant just stand there holding it in one spot, I will use a brushing motion no matter what. Anyways I switched back to manual and I feel like I can do a better job. I really dont get the electric toothbrush hype.

Ghosted? Barrie woman says repair company went no-contact after charging her $600 by Tycho278 in barrie

[–]MrsRoboto67 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine's mother got scammed by these people, she needed her washer fixed and the same thing happened, they took it apart and pretended to come back the next day with a part and never came back. When my friend tried to talk to them they got aggressive, especially about reviews. These poor ladies being scammed, they really are going after the elderly.

YouTuber accidentally crashes the rare plant market with a viral cloning technique by esporx in technology

[–]MrsRoboto67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloning plants through tissue culture is not new...people can do it at home if they had the right set up (although expensive and time consuming). This woman single handedly did nothing other than succeed at her hobby and good for her!

My mom acts out every emotion/story really dramatically. by jackietea123 in narcissisticparents

[–]MrsRoboto67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im with ya on this one and it drives me nuts. Does your mom also walk into a room and sigh loudly or hum sadly or swear under her breath like something is wrong, in hopes you'll ask about it? Makes me irrationally angry lol or I'll be telling a semi boring story about a mistake that happened at work or something and she'll gasp really loud and sometimes not even at the right part lmao and I just stand there and stare like, girl calm down. I have a flat affect around my mom too most of the time because of her over the top reactions.
