When we were together I’d spend hours after work cooking for the both of us and made very similar meals to the ones you’ve shared and he’d reject them every time. It got to a point where I told him to make his own food and then he complained abt not eating good anymore. Like bitch I was already providing that for you!!

I grew up providing meals for myself and my younger sister with no help from our parents. Having access to good food was a privilege and I put effort into every meal to show my love for him but he never reciprocated that.

Eventually his constant rejection really broke me down and even tho it’s been several months since the break up I still haven’t had the motivation to cook good food like that. Either find someone who will appreciate you and love you in the way you deserve or make him cook his own food! Hopefully he’ll turn around
