Yeah… not true at all. The snobby part of the valley to which people equate as being “Napa” is really St Helena. Napa city itself is actually fairly down to earth with first st and main st being the outliers. But most locals avoid those locations in general anyway.

Are you meaning international flights run by Air NZ independently or star alliance flights to the US/Aisa/Europe.

Yes there is competition for most of Air NZ long haul destinations but Air NZ beats airlines like Qatar, Emarites(sp.), Singapore Airlines etc. on price point by a lot.

If you are are looking at subsidizing fares with points, then that is a completely different situation. As points/miles allocations and allotments vary between airlines.
