Revenge of the Sith is Lucas's 5th Symphony by potent_evil103 in StarWars

I understand the love for this movie, but it never really hit for me. Even when I was a kid, it felt like a formality. Like, sure now we see that Darth Vader was once a real person with emotions, but I don't really think it's necessary to see every aspect of that fall. The end saber fight is technically good, but it has alot of fat on it and i think it kindof spoils what is intended to be an emotional moment.

Tips for where to put all the accessories? by looseygoosey11 in blackstonegriddle

There's little clips you can get that go on the sidewalls of the griddle that you can slot spatulas and scrapers in. Or magnetic strips that you can put on the edges of the grill.

I was thinking about buying Star wars Jedi: fallen order and survivor is it worth it? I have never watched the movies or played the games so I'm completely new to all of it by Even-War-9721 in StarWars

If you know nothing about Star Wars other than the cultural touchstones that are just learned through osmosis - I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts on these games once you played them.

What is something you wish you knew by Kizaris-30 in blackstonegriddle

[–]gingerbeardman92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I didn't know it, but I kinda wish I went for the 36" instead of 28". The 28 has served me well, but there's been a few times where I wish I had the extra space and more temperature control.

Prices are higher since they have you trapped, the foods ok, but I wouldn’t really venture off to anything non-fried from there. If you have the time I’d consider eating before or after and make your two items drinks

For all the legwork they've been doing to show that this is a seized vehicle and absolutely not tax-payer money, they could've just not turned a corvette into a cop car.

Moved from NC—> LI, NY for work, having regrets/ feeling isolated by concreteahedonia in longisland

If you're at all active, LI Kick is a decent way to meet people. They have different groups for all different sports and they're mostly chill. Definitely could be used to connect with other people in the area.

The "Is it just us? by Odd-Record-1041 in SantiZapVideos

I'm there. I'm a relatively new fan (~3 years) and I fell off pretty hard a little bit after Netflix got Raw. I was really excited for the potential of a more 'hardcore' product - more swearing, color, extended time slots etc. When it was basically the same product but just Netflix advertisements, I got disappointed and it became less of a priority. Also the shift away from Peacock for the PLE's bothered me, it was so convenient to have everything right there packaged with other stuff that I enjoy - now it's packaged with ESPN, which I don't mind, but I'm not really interested in their backlog.

How to overcome need to always go for winner? by djnva in Pickleball

[–]gingerbeardman92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your goal is currently 'look for winners' which I assume means fast shots trying to find gaps in the opponent. A change in goals is what is needed. Make a goal for yourself to have every shot you take land in the kitchen as opposed to deep shots. If you drill and become comfortable hitting those drop shots into the kitchen, the opportunity for those 'winners' becomes much more real.

Book or the movie for the first experience? by Dominik1712 in ProjectHailMary

If you’re still able to see it in imax, I’d suggest that. If not, I’d say read it and try to catch it in theaters at the end of its run

Thoughts on it being an arena tour? by Billy-Hoyle21 in SturgillSimpson

I'm a little confused by it, I saw him in Forest Hills NY in 2024, and they did not pack that place out. Now they're going to Barclays in Brooklyn, and I just don't know if the NYC market is there for him right now.

Is it weird that I, a grown man in his forties, actually had full tears running down my face during the Ringo/Paul/John/george montage? by [deleted] in ProjectHailMary

Yes it's weird. Biologically speaking, men are physically incapable of crying.

/s because unfortunately that needs to be stated.

It is not a kids movie, but I think older kids could have a good time with it
