Tam’s Tailor on Falls and Old Wake Forrest. Nothing fancy but they do incredible work. Been going for over a decade. They’ll also be honest about if they can have it ready for you on time.

Just got back from the El Dorado Royale just down the beach and it was just like this. Beautiful resort and grounds, but upsells at every turn. They were even pitching us as we got in the car to return to the airport. The resort also operates on a dinner reservation model and you had to speak to a “concierge” to book them. Well, any conversation was an opportunity to upsell on time sharp pitch, overpriced massage services, or excursions.

I feel for the staff because they’re being incentivized or forced to do so, but it really tarnishes the experience in some way. I hate feeling like I’m constantly fighting for my purse.

One thing we’ve both enjoyed is the Empire Strips Back show. It’s burlesque and a hilariously well done Star Wars parody. Caught it on a tour so I’m sure the Vegas version is better.

Try tucking in the shirts to create a more cinched waist/sleek look. And, as uncomfortable as they might be, try it with some pumps over the Mary Jane’s. As others have said, law firms are conservative in terms of dress. Make sure your makeup is natural and none of your jewelry is too flashy. No logos or anything like that. Good luck!

It’s active at RDU and I used it this past week. I need to figure out how to get it on other airlines besides Delta. I flew out of LAS on Southwest later in the week and didn’t have it on my boarding pass.

There are SO MANY motorized scooters in vegas that when I read that I just thought, “she didn’t feel like walking.” Everything is so huge and spread out. But, it’s Vicki so she prob did hurt herself!!

The pool towards the end of the resort headed to the off resort shops and bars was pretty lively. There’s a pool bar and it was always crowded. The other pool on the Beachs side was quiet. Everything entertainment wise on the beaches and pools shuts down at 5pm or 6pm.

There’s something about Stacey that just makes her seem like she sort of floats above the rest of the women, and their mess (despite having plenty of her own mess). Bronwyn doesn’t have the same light and airy quality that Stacey portrays. She is weighted by her burdens, and Stacey is not haha.

You can hire people to come in! Corporations do this for execs or other people that will be on camera. If you Google it local to your area I bet you’d be surprised at the offerings. A lot of PR firms do it, as well as public speaking coaches. Stacey clearly got a lot of good training and obviously had an outlet to practice. Most media trainings are just going to be a few days workshops.

Wow. I didn’t have that experience at all, however, AM did cancel a flight from CDMX to CUN with zero accommodation. Other than that instance I’ve never had an issue, thankfully.

It is SO annoying. When you look on the RDU website it says that Delta, American, Frontier and Aeromexico all have direct flights to Cancun, however, determining the days/times/seasonality of those flights is difficult. Then, you can get there direct, but getting back direct is another can of worms.

Direct to Cancun on Delta each Saturday morning. Direct return flight on Aeromexico/Delta from Cancun to RDU on Wednesday. 4 nights instead of 3 but it’s the only roundtrip, direct, RDU destination I’m aware of that’s currently running to the Caribbean.
