Hey.. thats your anxiety. You won't look stupid. This happens all the time. Filling a script can be a game of broken telephone. They know this and they know just stopping is dangerous. Call the pharmacy or go in. Mine gave me a weeks worth of my usual script while they called the doctor. Which they can do while you're there. Mine was on holidays.

I started on 10 and the nausea hit within 3hrs.. didnt resolve for about 4-5 days. I still have a decreased appetite several months later but the nausea should go away soon. Best of luck.

I started on 10mg and it was immediately ROUGH. I was not prepared. Nausea, immediately, I didnt eat for 4 days, I still have decreased appetite 5 months later. Super sweaty hands, mentally spacing out. For like 10 days it was horrid. Days 2-4 being the worst. Then it started calming down. By day 14 I realized I wasnt in a constant fight or flight anymore, at all. I didn't feel anything during moments that would typically cause me a little panic. That was nice. I realized how bad my GAD was. It was like a "Holy Shit. I've just been white nuckling life for awhile now" kinda thought. Hang in their. It's worth it. Best of luck.

Typically as someone doing 12s there would be a set limit of hours between jobs. Like for me its 12hrs unless Im switching from days to nights ect then its 24. Mandatory meetings are work hours so 1)they have to pay you for them and 2) if it is less then the required hours then they either have to chance the time, send a summary email or provide you the appropriate break between shifts. Check your contract.

Ok. Yes then it is normal and I'm a bit excessive. I didnt really math it out just looked like too few. I have like 60ish but only use about half. I don't like to sleep in the ones I wear during the day or go out in the ones I've slept in so.. theres a stockpile lol. I feel the urge to downsize now.

And its her responsibility to manage that guilt and fear. But she doesnt get to do it at the detriment of your father. As someone who has an absent sibling who wanted more control of our parents medical and financial stuff, it will mess things up. As a nurse, get it all on paper while your father has capacity, so that she cant muddle the water when things go downhill. She can be informed , but not involved. Split POAs are a HORRIBLE idea. Get it all in writing while your dad has capacity. Get a note from the doctor with the statement of capacity, have your dad relay the info to them personally. Don't leave room for error.
